Fantastic stay

My friend and i came here for a relaxing weekend away and that's exactly what we got. The pub is situated in a lovely market square with a small selection of shops. The room was of a good size and bright and airy with a very comfortable bed. Ww went for the half board option and the food was delicious both the breakfast and dinner. We went to the pub in the evening as there was live music playing, there was a nice atmosphere and it all felt very relaxed. I cannot recommend The George highly enough, fantastic value we will return.

Super staff & great food

No nonsense, friendly staff. Cosy bar, with real fire. Excellent menu & specials board. Even made us an early breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
