We will definitely stay here again. Quaint, very clean, and unique. Nate was extremely helpful, suggesting excellent places to eat. He carried our bags from our car and to an upper level room for us!

Hotel Galena was amazing! Nate at check-in was so helpful and gave us some great tips on what to check out. The room was outstanding! We had a great view and a large jetted tub inside our suite. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook this hotel for my next trip to Galena. Thanks for everything!

Nate was so welcoming and our room was lovely. Lots of little extras like sleep, mask and earplugs and high-end liquid soap and shampoo. Beds were very comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. A continental breakfast was served above and beyond any other continental breakfast we’ve had. We even ended up buying the granola that they have. It was delicious. I would highly recommend to stay here walkable to downtown, friendly host that even carried our luggage, and provided things that we forgot at home.

The staff, location and property are great. The down side is that the walls are paper thin. We heard the entire conversation with the couple in the room next to ours. This went on till midnight. To top it off, when the guy fell asleep, he started to snore. This was heard in our room like he was sleeping in bed next to us. No matter how many knocks on the wall, it didn't help with these rude people.

It was a nice place but would suggest a new mattress in the room #2 we stayed in. You could tell mattress was old, squeaky, sank and noisy as you sat on it and as you moved while you slept. The fan in the room looked new however made a clicking noise on the high setting. Bathroom is very small and would have preferred a cotton bath matt like they use in hotels to step on out of the shower instead of a rug that you can’t tell if it was washed prior to arrival. Rooms could be painted a lighter color for brightness as it seemed dark even with lights on. Nice place though for a one night’s stay in this room. Breakfast is not that great so plan to eat somewhere else. Downtown Galena is about a 5 min easy walk.

Great hotel and location
We absolutely loved Hotel Galena. Nate, the owner is so hospitable. The rooms were cute, comfortable. Nate goes all out for the comfort of the rooms. Comfy beds, Google for music, smart TVs with all the streaming services. Quick walk to the fun Main Street of Galena and easy parking.
