One of the best places to stay
I always enjoy staying here. Wicked friendly service and always accommodating especially with having an active service animal. Breakfast is alwahs on point too!

BEWARE this is the sam up crappy old Redroof Inn!
Well to begin with we get in the room and it smells like musty, so we soray some stuff and leave because we had tickets to be somewhere! Well we come back several hours later and cant get in the room because our keys doesnt work! I go have the key redone and still a no go! I call the front office on my cellphone to get them to come see what is the issue! Dead batteries in the locking mechanism. Also curtain in the room is broken and you cant close it. It is 10 pm so theres no option but to stay or lose $150+ for the night. We went to take a shower and there are only 2 towels and 1 wash cloth for 4 people. When we got to the hotel i recognized it as the old Redroof Inn in Galveston where we had stayed before and even though it had a fresh coat of paint it was the same crap hole as before. The whole stay was a disaster because of the room and everything. I will never stay there again and would never recommend anyone to stay here.

Ice machines did not work. Uncovered electrical outlets for the fire alarm system. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. And plenty of it. I would like there to be fruit available. Bananas and oranges. The grounds around the hotel were extremely clean and manicured. Parking was very good and easily accessible. Another elevator would be very helpful due to the amount of people and staff going up and down. The staff was courteous and very helpful.

Very convenient location. I loved the oceanview. Kroger is next to the hotel so that's a plus. The hotel offered complimentary popcorn, lemon iced water, and various coffee selection. Clean and comfortable.

There was mold all around the edges/corners of the ceiling. The t.v. remote did not work. As far as the staff was concerned, if they were at the front desk they were polite and helpful. If the staff was out on the property, they were rude and acted put out if you asked them a question. We will not be staying at this property again.

We were there for one night. The first room was moldy smell, mold on the lamps, veryy damp room. Seems like no one cleaned this room. There was hand prints and lip marks on the windows from past guests. The microwave and fridge was gross never cleaned out. Pillows fail the pillow fold test.... They are so flat. Wish I could post pictures on here.... I run my own hotels and have high standards. I didn't have high standards coming to this place but at least put some love into your work.

Good experience
It was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that they don't give you enough towels and washcloths and you have to take your dirty linen down to the lobby to exchange it instead of them offering to change it out while they are cleaning other rooms. A little troble with the elevator but we just used another one. Overall a good experience.

Definitely within walking distance of coffee, grocery shopping, and unique dining experiences. However, I couldn’t stop waking up between 3am-9am just about every hour on the hour within those times due to echoing halls, the room we had *could* connect to another using a locked door that I thought was a closet and there were barking and whining animals or screaming children in the next room, and people would not stop talking in front of our room. Plus, when they first checked us in they radioed to make sure our room was clean. My fiance and I get up there and it was clearly in the middle of being cleaned. I don’t mind having to wait, but it would’ve been more appreciated if it actually was clean upon arrival at 4:30pm (check-in is @4pm). The staff was actually very nice though and apologized profusely with easy check in and out. Plus, it was very beneficial financially at last minute’s notice (2 days beforehand). The app put a 9$ room deposit hold as soon as I placed it and took the entire total of the 3 nights out as soon as we checked in. Overall, not the greatest but not the worst

The room stunk. A cockroach greeted me as I entered the room. The carpet was grungy/ dirty. There was even dirt/lint on the ceiling. The bath towels had visible dirt on it. The hotel grounds were very nasty. There were old leaves, dirt and bird feathers all over the sidewalk that looked like it had been there for years.
