This luxurious 3 bedroom, 2 bath, is a relaxing bay side condo that has fantastic unobstructed views of the bay, and is only a short, quick drive by car or golf cart to the beach and the Pointe West Beach Club. The condo features a modern, fully equipped kitchen, free WIFI, HD cable TV and a large flat screen TV in the living room. There is a king size bed in the Master Bedroom, queen size beds in both bedroom two and three as well as a queen size sleeper couch in the living room to accommodate your family. The unit has all your linens for your stay, as well as a full size washer and dryer to clean your clothes after a day at the beach or pools. Located on Red Fish Cove, enjoy wade fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and crabbing right from your vacation backyard. Bring your camera, sit back and enjoy the bird sanctuary from the large private balcony featuring picture perfect sunsets every evening. The balcony is accessible from both the master bedroom or the living room and has plenty of seating for everyone. Leave your worries at home when you come to your Pointe West Vacation!

When you stay in a Bay to Beach Rental Property, all you need to bring is your clothes, beach towels/chairs, sun screen, food and you! We provide paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, fabric softener sheets, hand soap, coffee, coffee filters, shampoo, body wash, and basic spices in each unit.

Pointe West is an exclusive resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean, groomed regularly and closed to vehicular traffic. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers and a game room. The Sunset Pool on the bayside has a small lazy river, hot tub, fire pit, gas and charcoal grills for the guests use during their stay. Enjoy the pool bar and restaurant, Smore's by the Sunset Pool, kid's crafts, Dive-in Movies and live entertainment. (We will send you the activity schedule upon booking your vacation or you can check the Pointe West Beach Club website for times/dates).

Golf carts, kayaks and paddleboards are available for rent from local island vendors. Please ask us we have information on these items and other things you may want to rent when visiting Pointe West.

The homeowner offers a 5% discount to military and veterans. Any guest staying over 7 days is offered a 10% discount off of the rent!

You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston(The Strande), Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier and all the other great attractions of Galveston. Major grocery stores are located 20 minutes away so we recommend guests stop on their way in so they never have to leave their vacation getaway!

WRISTBAND POLICY
The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

THE SUNSET POOL ON THE BAYSIDE OF POINTE WEST IS HEATED FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT YEAR-ROUND. THE BEACH CLUB POOL IS NOT HEATED AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP AN INFINITY POOL WARM. BOTH POOLS HAVE LARGE HOT TUBS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

Great vacation cut short!
Our stay at this property was just fine overall. It was cut short by one night due to an unexpected storm which resulted in a power outage. While moving in was easy, moving out was hard because of the heat and power outage which resulted in no ac or elevator. Also because of the weather there were no special sunsets as we have experienced in the past. We enjoyed our time with our family in spite of everything. Thanks to the hosts for doing what they could.

Beautiful city!
Beautiful property! Loved the Beach Club as well! Nice pool, clean beach and friendly staff! Now the downsides, the bar and grill at the beach club weren't open when we were there and me and my wife really planned on enjoying it.. also the drive back to town is 20 mins+. I'd suggest going into town Mon-Fri because weekends are an absolute mess. Overall, we loved our visit, the resort and beautiful Gavelston! Highly recommend this unit!

Everything was as advertised. Communication was excellent! We even had to rearrange dates and they were extremely accommodating. Kitchen was well stocked for the meals we prepared there. Welcome basket of basic supplies was just right. Hope to come again some time or stay with these property managers at Pointe West again in the future!

We loved the quieter environment of the west end! The pools on the property were great. The host left a basket with all the essentials to get us started on a relaxing week! We had one minor maintenance issue and the host was responsive and communicated well.

Very nice
We have stayed at multiple units at Point West and this has been one of the cleanest. Multiple extra bed covers that also looked clean and not dusty as other places. The kitchen had everything you needed with high quality gadgets and not cheap plates or cheap containers, pans, etc. The communication with the management was fast at all times and the unit is as pictured. The only delta: 1- The doors in the master bedroom was kinda broken as well as the one in the bathroom. They need to level them up to close the door. I didn't even want to push it hard to avoid making noise and/or forcing the door too much. So we couldn't close any of those doors completely during our stay

Excellent Condo Great Views
I took my family here - we have children from 0-18 and two adults - it was amply stocked with towels, and plenty of space for all of us. Enjoy dinner on the bay-side balcony for a fabulous sunset - or step out onto the master balcony for a sunrise! The amenities at this property are second to none - the infinity pool is a must especially at night with colored lights. Walk out to the private beach and enjoy a relaxing time in the water - no cars, no blaring music, just calm waves. This facility does have several rules to insure everyone young and old has a wonderful time. The property manager fixed our one issue in a matter of minutes - we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return!

What a nice surprise this condo and resort was exactly what we needed. Pool was wonderful with good bar and food service. Our condo was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Nice porch with table and chairs. Room to spread out with kids. Host was local and very helpful. We will be back.

The property has everything you could want. Beautiful sunrises n sunsets. Enough space for a whole family. The added amenities of multiple pools and all that comes with renting here is perfect for a family friendly getaway. As well the property manager was amazing. Was quick to respond to questions and help out with anything we needed.

We will be back
What a fabulous experience. We live just North of Houston and haven’t been the biggest fans of Galveston. We had visions from Germany who wanted to visit the beach. We did some research and found Pointe West. I have fallen in love!! We already tried to book this place for the future but it was booked. This is just as the listing described - clean and comfortable with the most gorgeous sunset views. Comfortably slept 5 adults and 2 kids (on sleeper sofa). The hosts/property managers are just amazing There was a welcome basket with essentials and all we needed for cooking (pots, pans, spices. Etc). I will say, the grill was a struggle for my husband as you need to bring your own charcoal and it was quite windy and HOT. Just a tip as you plan your menus. We met one of the property managers (Linda) and enjoyed her very much !! Recommend renting a golf cart to enjoy the views and club of ammenities!
