The Space:
Best of the West is sure you will not be disappointed with your Island Getaway! This luxurious 3 bedroom, 3 baths, relaxing bayside condo has fantastic unobstructed views of the bay and is only a short, quick drive to the beach and the Pointe West Beach Club.

Features a modern, fully equipped kitchen, flat-screen TV's in the living room & master bedroom, king size bed in master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, queen size bed in the second bedroom with ensuite bathroom, the third bedroom has twin over full bunk beds and there is a pull-out sofa bed for two in the second living area. Equipped with washer/dryer, bath and pool towels provided, and all beds are dressed for your party. Bring the wine, bring your camera, sit back and enjoy the bird sanctuary with some bird watching starring Roseate Spoonbills, Egrets, and Herons. The center stage will be the most fabulous sunsets, all from the privacy of your huge balcony overlooking the bay! Leave your worries at home when you come to your Island Getaway!

This is a pet-friendly property.  There is a maximum of 2 pets with a 100-pound total weight limit. ($150 cleaning fee).

There is a pack-n-play with a bassinet for your convenience.

When you stay in a Best of the West home, all you need to bring is your clothes, sunscreen, food, and you! Best of the West provides basic consumables needed for your entire stay; paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, coffee, creamer, sweetener, coffee filters, first aid kit, and to make things easier, a luggage cart to help you pack and unpack from your car.

Guest Access:
You will be provided the door code, wifi code, and all other check-in information 2 days before check-in.

The Neighborhood:
Pointe West is an exclusive resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean and groomed regularly and they are by far the best on the island. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity-edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers, and a game room. 

***AMENITIES FEE: Please note that you will need to obtain a wristband and access code from the Pointe West Beach Club to take full advantage of the community facilities (pools, gym, clubhouse game room, Basketball, and Pickleball courts). They charge $25 per guest 4 years old and older and are good for the entire length of your stay. This fee will be paid directly to the Beach Club upon registration.

(You will receive an email from the Pointe West POA to prepay the resort fee. The primary guest on your reservation will need to show an ID at the Beach Club Office to pick up the wristbands and parking passes.) *** Fees increased to $25/per person in 2023. The fee is not mandatory. If you do not plan to use the pools and other amenities during your stay, you do not have to purchase the wristbands, but you will need to get parking passes from the Beach Club. You can get free wristbands for use of the restaurant and bar.

The Pointe West Beach Club is a separate entity from Best of the West Galveston. Best of the West Galveston cannot guarantee the availability of any of the Beach Club’s amenities. Check the Pointe West Beach Club’s website for details.***

Getting Around:
You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, the new Pleasure Pier, and all the other great attractions of Galveston.

Other Things to Note:
**Elevators, WIFI, and cable can be unreliable on West Galveston Island. We apologize, but Best of the West can not guarantee these amenities will be working during your stay at Pointe West and we are unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services.**
During your stay at this condo building, you're just a quick walk from San Luis Beach. Enjoy features like an outdoor pool, a gym and 1 hot tub. The condo offers free WiFi and a kitchen.

Family Getaway
Everything was as presented! Enjoyed our quick stay before school starts. Condo had plenty of room for our group of 6. Weather for beach was perfect and pools were great for relaxing. Renting a golf cart was a must for easy transport to and from the pool and to get to the beach access. Wanted to grill out but mosquitoes were out of control at that time, so come prepared! Only thing we would have appreciated was curtains to contain early morning sun light and a fan on the porch. Otherwise everything was good!

Wonderful for a family staycation!!
Beautiful clean condo with stunning views. Spectacular sunsets. Had everything needed for our family, including a pack and play for our baby. Highly recommend renting a golf cart and taking evening golf cart rides. The golf cart also made things super easy traveling back and forth to the pools. 10/10 recommend!!!

Beautiful condo with great layout for group
This is a very nice, clean and updated condo. The layout was perfect for our group (1 couple + 1 couple w 2 kids) because there is a master bedroom/bath on one side of the house and 2 rooms/bathrooms are on the other side. Kitchen is right in the middle and was very well stocked. There was also a small sitting area w a fold out bed available. Main living area is spacious with large couch and both outdoor balconies have a nice view. Our property manager was extremely communicative and responsive from day one. All instructions were clear and helpful. And the Beach Club (separate entity) was a must. There are 2 different pools and other amenities The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars on "Accuracy of Online Listing" is because while it mentions there is a bay view and "short drive" to beach, you need to know this unit it one of the furthest from the beach access point and it is across the street from the beach as well. But they are correct that is is a short drive. I just think it might be nice to clarify even more, if possible. But this is very minor and we recommend this property and company 100%.

This property was the perfect set up for our family’s weeklong stay. It was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The sunsets off the balcony were beautiful. The pool and beach access was a quick drive and easy parking. The furniture was all comfy. James was attentive to all our questions and check in and check out was super easy. Our only complaint was the elevator was unreliable. We would stay here again.

Very clean and well kept property. Short walk to the Gulf, great views of the West Galveston Bay. The Pointe West Restaurant makes fabulous food, highly recommend the grilled oysters.

Wonderful stay.
We so enjoyed our stay here . We rented a golf cart which was a great idea . They have golf cart trails all over the pointe west resort . We were able to drive the golf cart all the way to the beach or we could just drive across the street and walk to the beach . It was perfect for us . Just a few things so you know it was 30 minutes from the town of Galveston which for is we enjoyed being away from so many people . Not being down this area I did not know that but like I said it did not bother us at all but my younger kids and their family might have enjoyed being closer to town . We highly recommend this place it was wonderful .
