They really keep it too cold in the restaurants and common areas. Friendly staff. There is not a waiter at the pool and it was difficult to get a drink at the pool bar (understaffed). Odd that you’re not allowed to bring in your own beverages to the pool, yet trying to get a beverage at the pool is very difficult. Not a horrible experience; we had fun. It’s just there is need for improvements regarding the drink service at the hotel pool.

Don’t sleep hardly at all due to a drunk person in the hall. We had to call the lobby 4 times from 10pm to2am about a drunk person banging on the door to his room. He was locked out by his GF/wife. Finally cops came around 0400. Really thought the situation would have been handled after the first time we called. And I’m sure we were not the only people who called. Sad how one person can ruin the experience for many.

If they put you in North Tower prepare for a very very long walk to nearest parking. Had to switch rooms due to this reason. Then if you enjoy Hot showers plan on luke warm. After 2 days of reporting this issue to front desk they sent maintenance and agreed to switch rooms again only to find that entire Hotel has the same water heat setting they claim this is for child safety scalding reasons and I can understand that since that is typical and built in to shower valve regulators but this was just warm to the point of no steam even forms in washrooms. other than that the Hotel was very comfortable.

Moody garden hotel is very beautiful modern and cozy. Room was clean with beautiful island view. They have garden cafe with us very convenient and food is nice. Excellent big pool. This was our first time to stay at Moody Gardens and we loved it. Can’t wait to stay again! It was clean and the rooms were nice! We went when they weren’t busy so that was nice , it was quiet.
