Make your escape to this cozy beachfront cottage, only steps away from the beach. This lovely home is the perfect place to enjoy a true getaway. The house is nestled at the end of the street where you feel that you have your private beach area.. Enjoy spectacular never-ending ocean views, while listening to the waves from the partially covered deck, sipping your morning coffee, or evening cocktails. You can walk your picnic lunch to the family from the house, making lasting memories on the beach. The home welcomes you with new beautiful furnishings and beachy décor. It offers a king-size bed in the master bedroom, with a private full bath. The second bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds to make room for children or guests. The bottom bunk is a futon full-size bed. The bonus room has a convertible sleeper sofa that makes a full-size bed. The entire space allows for up to nine guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to entertain you and your guests. Clean linens are provided and the home is pet-friendly. The house includes dish/wifi and blu ray DVD. This is your gem of a vacation spot just waiting for you to enjoy. It is the perfect place for a family vacation or an adult weekend getaway. Terramar is a quiet community, only a short drive, (approximately 20 minutes) from the Seawall action. Galveston has so much to offer in regard to day trips as well. The Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, mansion tours, Duck Tours, and The Strand are great ways to enjoy your time as well.
You can't get any closer to the beach than this. If you are ready for your escape to the sea, this is the place for you.

Amazing little get a way!
What a wonderful find! We loved unplugging and hanging out on the PRIVATE beach! Just steps away from the front door. Couldn't ask for a better location. The home had everything we needed. Amazing location, but inside not clean and unsafe
So first off, this was an absolutely amazing location, right on the beach, like it said. However… The cleanliness or lack there of I should say, was a factor. The dishes in the cabinet were dirty, part of the flooring was coming up and actually stepped on a nail…. And to be honest, I believe that there is black mold in the master bedroom that’s covered up by paint…every morning woke up with a stuffy nose. So, even though the location was great… To be honest, we would not come again due to these factors. If the inside was cleaned up, I would give this place 10 stars.

Perfect location to walk right on to the beach with a great view! We loved the location and it was just what we wanted. My family had a wonderful time and the house was just the right size for us. Everything was the same as what you see in the pictures from the listing. Beds were comfortable, tvs were provided which was nice for some down time after time on the beach. There was an ant problem that we noticed which caused us to not want to sit in certain areas or put our things on the floor. We had to constantly vacuum or sweep them up but they kept coming in through openings in floor. Overall we had a great time!

Our family of four loved our stay in the cottage. Being just a few steps away from the beach was a real game changer, allowing for all kinds of impromptu oceanside mini excursions whenever the mood struck. The property itself was immaculately clean upon arrival, had every amenitity you'd want, and generally provided a perfect home base for our family to recharge. Unit needs a few things, but managed. Truly a nice place & plan on another visit!! Best vaca I've ever had in Galveston & enjoyed the historical district!! Ashton Villa is spectacular & home of Juneteenth!! The historical significance of this home is pride of my great state!!

Awesome time ! Place is right on beach , beach front , my family my sons family and my brother stayed plenty of room , seeing the full moon was a highlight of one night and seeing my granddaughter have fun,Playing in the sand and chasing Lil crabbies at night made our weekend! So definitely is a must stay rental , rained at times but wasn't a deal breaker anyone who wants a private beach rental this is the place, just bring food and cold beer ! Only one thing would to have better lightning in the living room so when u eat but was not bad maby just some new bulbs needed but over all excellent rental thanks for having us be back soon..

3rd time staying at this property. On the west end of houses. Secluded to the west for 800 meters. Great for dog walks before the beach people come out. Love the little cottage on stilts. Reminds me of where I grew up in Florida. Only drawback is the outside area downstairs is not set up for preventing tracking dirt up the stairs and into the house. Water hose needs some thought!
