Property was a walk to the city. The room was in need of major cleaning. Dirty caulk around the vanity and tub that needs to be removed and redone. Dirty walls in the bath need to be repainted.

I've reviewed the hotel stay separately through a survey from them. Overall this is a beautiful hotel and was a lovely place to stay. We would have spent more money dining at the hotel had it been better staffed; it was too difficult to get service when we were hungry. But goodness, if you get a chance to stay here, take it! We absolutely loved our room and our view. The hotel itself is just beautiful.

Great location with lake views and spacious rooms. Service was top notch all around. Bar is fabulously decorated with attentive service. We dined off property and there were many good options to explore in Galway. Parking is easy as is local transportation. Do not recommend driving off property to dinner etc as parking in the city is limited so we used the readily available taxis and it worked great. The decor could use some updating (style preference more than wear and tear) and that’s a minor suggestion.

Beautiful hotel, located about a mile from the center of town. Makes for a nice walk along the lake. The staff were accommodating, and the room was large and lovely. Also, parking and an excellent breakfast menu were included, making it a great value as well.
