Red Roof Chalet of the Smokies atop Chalet Village welcomes you to Gatlinburg. We are a newly constructed 2500 sq foot home with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths with a gorgeous long range mountain top view looking towards Pigeon Forge. We are conveniently located atop our quaint upscale neighborhood of Chalet Village. You will wind upwards just 1.6 miles from the Gatlinburg Welcome Center, off the 321 Parkway! Our location is ideal! We are just minutes to downtown Gatlinburg and also less than 4 miles to Pigeon Forge.

Our farmhouse chalet has all the comforts of home and is ready for you to relax and enjoy your mountain getaway. We have 2 newly remodeled king bedrooms on the first floor and another newly remodeled king bedroom on the lower level. We also have a bunk bedroom on the lower level that has a twin over full bed that sleeps 3 kids comfortably! We have a twin day bed in our game room perfect for a teenager hangout room! We have wifi and cable with all smart TVs available for your enjoyment. The lower level has a game room with an actual Ober ski lift to lounge in while playing pool and an inviting hot tub on the deck outside! The game room is equipped with a pool table, a retro barrel arcade game, and a multicade system with a variety of games.

Guests have access to the entire home! Please enjoy your stay! Also, in the summer time, guests have access to the Chalet Village Owner's Association clubhouse and pools. We are located right by the Chalet Village North Clubhouse. It is literal steps away. There are tennis courts and a community swimming pool. Guest passes are available at the chalet for your access!

For our winter time guests, please note, the chalet is situated at the top of a mountain. Roads are steep in some areas but are well maintained. We recommend that you monitor the local weather closely before you arrive and a 4 wheel drive vehicle is preferable if slick road conditions exist. Also because of the unpredictable nature of winter weather and its effects on travel, road conditions, and power outages, we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance during winter vacations to the Smokies.

Our neighborhood starts at the Gatlinburg Welcome center, just off the Parkway and you climb 1.6 miles upwards to reach your stay! We are located 2000 feet above sea level at the top of our quaint upscale neighborhood of Chalet Village near the clubhouse. Please note that we are located at the top of a mountain. While the roads are well maintained and no gravel, they are steep and winding at times. Also, when at the chalet while standing on our deck gives you a long range view towards Pigeon Forge and a short walk to the clubhouse would give you a view of Mt Leconte! These are your rewards for the uphill drive!!

Ready to explore and don't want to drive? You can wind your way back down the mountain to the Welcome Center at the bottom and hitch a ride on the purple line trolley which will take you right to the heart of Gatlinburg.

IF YOU HAVE A PET, PLEASE MESSAGE ME ABOUT YOUR PET! We do allow pets, but have limits and we add $150 pet fee for extra cleaning for one pet! If you have more than one dog, an increased fee will be assessed on a case by case basis! We ask that you pick up after your dogs waste and place in the bear proof trash cans outside!

Our guest maximum is 10, which includes adults and children. We do charge $100/night for each additional guest above 10.

Please note that our neighborhood is next to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and there are many bears that frequent our neighborhood. Please don't feed the bears and please lock your cars! If you place trash outside, only use the bear trash can provided. Our cleaners will take care of the trash after you leave. Thank you!
This chalet's walkable location gets high marks from our customers. During your stay, you'll be close to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. Features include a water park, 1 hot tub and an arcade/games room.

Attention to details
Most everything you would want is in the chalet. Beautifully decorated. Games, pool table, teen appeal as well as adults. Great hot tub. Nicely located near Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the National Park.

Wonderful Place!

Cousins Trip
We do a girls cousin trip every year in November to Gatlinburg. We have stayed in several different cabins through the years (this is our 22nd year) and all the ladies thought this was the best cabin we have stayed in. The view is beautiful, and the cabin was very clean. Hopefully we will be able to stay again in the future. Thanks for sharing your cabin.

Family Get Together
Our family came from both sides of the mountains and this was a beautiful place for us to spend time together. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean and had every thing that we needed to enjoy our stay, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to come to the mountains for a visit

Fantastic chalet with incredible views!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the chalet this week! Although we had to cut our trip short by a day due to the awful hurricane Helene weather, we had a great stay! The chalet is exactly as described, if not even better! The location is very close to the parkway and you can even drive down the mountain, park at the welcome center, and ride the trolley into both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Susan is an incredible host with very prompt communication. We would absolutely stay again!

Gatlinburg anniversary!
My husband and I celebrated our 49th anniversary with our family at Red Roof chalet. The cabin is absolutely beautiful! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and still come together for family dinners. The views are fantastic! Hot tub was a big hit. We did see several bears. Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect in every way!
Great location to everything. Nice tennis and pickle ball courts right across the way. Pool was lovely (but 2 people from our family got stung by small bees). The red roof chalet was amazing in every way. Beautifully decorated and well stocked. Views were great and we had fun using the game room! Susan was a very responsive host.

Yay for the Red Roof Chalet!
We had nine family members and our dogs and had a great time. The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean! We loved the community pool and walking in the neighborhood. Keep an eye out for bears. We did see a few and did you know they can open unlocked car doors?! We all loved it. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Motorcycle trip to the Smoky Mountains
Motorcycle trip with 6 people. This home was Perfect. The house is large enough that everyone had their own space. Two patios with beautiful views. Full kitchen 3 full baths. Road up to the house is a bit tight but it was fun on a motorcycle. We stayed 2 nights and would highly recommend.

Great Choice for Smoky Mountain family vacation
This location worked out very well for my family. My husband and I had our two adult kids with their spouses and four kids (ages 3,4,12 and 15). There was plenty of room for everyone. The location is between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (up a windy road...most are). Make sure you lock your car doors as there are bear in the area. One broke into my daughter's van (filled with leftover Wendy's bags from their trip with two toddlers). Fortunately, no damage was done to the van...just a trail of garbage. My husband walked out the door just as the bear was exiting the van...Highly recommend this property for your trip.

Mountain Chalet
The home is spacious with wonderful views from the deck. Our family had a great time staying at this “home base” for exploring the National Park. A very pleasant, welcoming environment. We loved the setting, up in the hills. Saw some bears wandering by. The home is very near the clubhouse with a pool too. Susan’s reputation as a responsive host, mentioned in other reviews, is quite genuine. She has a “get it done now” approach to requests and inquiries in the interest of making a guest’s stay as enjoyable as possible. Communication with her was always prompt and effective. Thank you!

Family Birthday Mountaintop Weekend Meet Up
1st Gatlinburg Visit. This house perfectly fit our needs with 3 master size large bedrooms, stocked kitchen, game room, hot tub and 2 Mountain view porches. The nicely appointed bedrooms gave our adult family members the ability to spread out without needing to put anyone on a pullout couch. We came from two directions Nashville and Tampa. We decided to venture out to Anakeesta, ax throwing, the Gatlinburg Smokey Mountain Trailhead, mini golf. Our beagle coonhound Holly thoroughly enjoyed being included in our family visit. Wish we had had time to stay longer.

Dollywood Family Trip
Beautiful, clean, modern home with great views and a fun game room! Excellent and easy - from booking to check-out. Susan was responsive and gracious. I wish all VRBO properties were this clean and cared for as well as this one. The layout, 3 king bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, made this home perfect for our group of 3 adult couples, a teen and a child. Quick drive to Dollywood, restaurants, and other attractions. Thank you Susan for renting your lovely home!
