There was a cultural center directly across the street where we could walk and enjoy coffee and breakfast and find information about local attractions. We did get confused because online it’s called trip Motel Gatton, but on the outside of the building, it says room motel so keep that in mind, when you arrive

Good value and bed is comfy. Giant tv is cool.
Good for what it is. Bed was comfy. Rooms are small and close together. Noise from neighbours is sort of an issue. I could hear everything outside my room and because someone next door was parked there it got kind of annoying, especially at night as they went out to the car several times and it was literally right outside the room. Can’t fault the staff or the facility, it is what it is. Value for price is very good and it’s a good stopover if headed out to Toowoomba

Great motel!
Clean, very comfortable beds, milk, biscuits, Milo, tea and coffee in rooms as well as toiletries that one may have forgotten to pack. I’ll come back next time I’m in town just based on the friendliness and helpful staff alone, as, I did have a minor problem one night and the assistance I received from Mary to solve it was perfect and very much appreciated. John, Mary and Natasha are all so great. I look forward to seeing them again next time.

Just across the street from the Apex bird sanctuary. Apart from Kakadu, this is the most birdlife I have experienced in Oz. Last time I was in Gattan (6 years ago), the lake was dry. The best truckie memorial in the nation, is nearby in the park. Check out Picnic Point, Toowoomba next stop!

This is a clean, quiet, well-maintained property with friendly staff. The rooms are large and comfortable with an excellent bathroom and kitchen. It would be nice if they replaced the broken venetian blinds in room 10 as they detract from the quality of the property.
