Comfortable bed and room. Pleasant staff. My only comment is that the room temperature was too high for my likes and the air-conditioning was off (noting i like a room temperature of around 17°C)

It was good hotel and a good location. I didn’t receive any benefit for booking a ViP access or as a platinum member benefits which was disappointing. Staff were lovely and friendly though, but we weren’t informed about the city tax on check in and having arrived 4 hours early had to pay 80 Franks to get access to the room, even though it was already ready and available

Old European style hotel in need of updating. The location is great but the hotel it really lacking. The room and hotel in general is extremely warm due to lack of any climate control. Had to sleep with no coverings and/or window open to keep from sweating all night. Would not stay here again.

The hotel room is really not flattering, the old layout. There aren't any vegetables for breakfast. When I checked in, they did not find the reservation, and handle it for a long time. There was also something wrong with the invoice when I checked out. After that, I stayed in Novotel Genève Centre for a few days, and the big difference is obvious. Hotel Royal is more expensive but much worse than Novotel Genève Centre.
