Nothin' fancy Nancy. Thats old fashioned speak.
A not fancy place. However the room was clean and beds, clean and comfortable. Not a lot of updated amenities. This was no consequence to us, we went for the historical touring and attractions. Parking outside the door to the room, walking distance to downtown and easy access to everything available. These weighed more important to us. Staff and housekeeping were visible and helpful.

First time at this property was in 1976. Still has that feeling, the deck around the pool is still the same, though no one uses it, it's there. We had enough soaps, towels, and tp for our 6 night stay using 2 adjoining rooms. The mattresses were fairly new but were wrapped in plastic. This made the bed very hot and the bedding constantly was coming off besides hearing every turn one made during the night. Though the floors look newer, my husbands socks were very black. Even a swiffer might do wonders. The parking lot has been recently paved, the grounds were clean, but no frills. It's a bit run down over all but the location is super convenient. I think there are folks living in the rooms, though we never felt unsafe there was a lingering odor of stale smoke and even of weed, the smell permeating the air. I really wouldn't say there's a continental breakfast either.We stayed here more out of nostalgia, but might move elsewhere the next trip.

I’m 68 years old and done my fair share of traveling. I try to stay at motels that are clean and quiet. In all of my years of traveling, this is truly the worst motel experience I’ve encountered. I don’t have an issue with furniture, bathrooms, drapes, etc. being outdated; but I take a significant exception to this motel since the unit I stayed in hasn’t been deep-cleaned in a long, long time. I feel that the motel owner doesn’t really care about repeat business since he is in a desirable location in a well traveled destination point.

Terrible experience. I reserved a room with two beds. Was given a room with one bed by person at desk. When I told clerk I reserved room with two beds, was told that's what the manager gave me and he can do whatever he wants. They said no other rooms were available. Luckily, a girl waiting in the slow moving line agreed to swap rooms with me. Will never, ever go back and will tell all members of the organization to which I belong to avoid at all costs.

Harlan did an amazing job fixing our problems for us. First we have two service dogs and the lady was trying to give me another room that I had not booked. I booked a king bed. She tried putting us in a double bed room which wasn’t even her job. She was rude to my fiance about it and we also were charged 30$ extra for checking in early. Which I didn’t care about but the room we were giving 112 smelled no reeked of cigarettes. So we complained to Harlan and he moved us and made sure we were good. But even our new rooms bed was horrible. Wasn’t cleaned hair clumps all over the floor and the bed seemed to be broke. Huge hole in the middle not comfortable at all.
