It’s a basic good value clean and quiet hotel close to the SEC and Hydro. Breakfast was just about adequate, hotel bar and restaurant bleak and soulless with uninspiring pub type menu. Bed and shower were good.

Rooms were generally ok, bed was hard which is good if you like a hard bed. Only 1 pillow each on the bed (there was a second one but my friend took that). I had asked for another at reception when we got back from the concert. Still waiting on it! If I was to go back I would be taking my own pillows.

Easy to find your way around, unfortunate that building works are going on right next to it. Shower head in my room kept falling to face the wall, so had to hold the shower head to bathe.

Great hotel in the West End of Glasgow. Ideally placed for gigs at the Hydro as it is opposite it. Friendly reliable service from Glasgow cabs all around the city. The only downsides (which wouldn't put us off coming again was the curtain in our room would not shut fully as the rail it was on was too short so left about a quarter of the window uncovered. Anyone in the hydro car park would be able to see in (albeit across the road). Also took a while to book in as only one person on reception and even when another member of staff came along they were doing something else on the computer. Despite this I would recommend this hotel for cleanliness, friendliness of staff and location.
