Great wee hotel
We rented a studio which was spacious, clean and tidy. Common areas very nice and breakfast plentiful. Only gripe - bar was a bit pricey but you expect that from hotel but do not expect a 10% service charge to pour two pints. There is a lot of building work in the area as Sauchiehall Street and surrounding streets are being upgraded but we were advised in advance and caused no disturbance.

Great room, bed was big and comfortable. Room was too warm and no a/c. Had windows open and slept on top of duvet. Had a starter and main in restaurant. When starter was finished they came with main right away which was too soon.

The Sandman was very modern. We loved that we could have breakfast at the restaurant in the motel which was delicious before discovering the city for the day. One less thing to worry about as to where to eat in the morning. Very convenient.

It's a nice hotel, only downside is the onsite parking, not so much room to get in and out. It's better to park at the charing cross car park if staying at this hotel.

Check in was slow. The room was stifling and the AC provided did not cool at all the first night and only marginally did so when we asked about it. The restaurant staff were exceptionally slow. When drinks eventually arrived one was wrong and was sent back. Never did get the drink and had nothing to drink when food arrived. Overall would not recommend or stay again.

Chinese? receptionist was lovely but difficult to understand. We were in accessible room on first floor and, in morning, we waited for approx ten minutes to get into lift for breakfast because of people already in lift with luggage - no room for me and wheelchair. Also, to get from lift to accessible room on first floor, my wife had to get me and wheelchair through double doors - not good. Food in restaurant was lovely
