We loved the Sandman and the restaurant for our one night stay. Clean, modern hotel, very quiet for the heart of the city. My only complaint is the extremely limited parking, which with all the construction on, we had difficulty finding and had to remove fallen barriers to enter the lane. With extremely tiny spaces. The hotel mentioned the other park and ride option, off-site, but we couldnt

We didn’t like the high beds because we can’t sit on them because our feet don’t react the floor and we have to crawl to get on it. The shower was a maze to operate. After a 12 hour bus tour we wanted room service but no one answered the phone so I had to go get our soup myself and had to wait half an hour. No one told us how to turn on the lights-we had to phone down. I guess it was just too modern for us!

The hotel was 1st class but i was a little disappointed with the breakfast as the buffet wasnt replenished when we went for ours so there items we couldn't have but otherwise it was an excellent stay

Fantastic modern and clean hotel. Only concern is the parking is very restricted and tight. I believe the hotel has made an arrangement for offsite parking which I didn’t use so can’t comment on. The small onsite car park had six EV chargers which I used, and this was an excellent facility.

We enjoyed our stay overall - spacious, modern, clean and quiet rooms. The only downside was all four mugs and spoons in our room were dusty and dirty. We requested new mugs, and the ones we were given were also dusty.

Great value for money and good quality. I'll be looking to stay at there other hotels. More attention to cleaning is needed though. E.g. there was visible dust by the bed and in the bathroom. There were also crumbs in the cupboard where they stored the toaster.

Twin rooms are very small. No air conditioning in the building so the rooms are incredibly hot, uncomfortably so at night (even with a fan). As it's right in the centre having the windows open all night is loud

The app didn't work. I couldnt find my booking on it and had to book another last minute hotel. Really upset. There were no emails about the booking either. I assumed the booking hadn't gone through, 2 days later I got an email saying did I enjoy my stay! I would like a refund please.
