Excellent Modern centrally located hotel
Only stayed the night here.. excellent check in and nice modern room, small but it had everything you would need for a business stay.. didn’t use the bar or restaurant, so couldn’t rate one way or another.. centrally located hotel, 5 easy minutes walk from Queen Street Rail station, which was why I chose this one.. would stay again

Wonderful property; we loved the decor & backlit headboard. Our room was spacious and very clean. The room was quiet and beds were quite comfortable. Nice shower & hooks for hanging wet towels. Love having a kettle for tea & coffee in the room. This hotel is convenient to everything; 5-minute walk to the train station & numerous restaurants plus shopping nearby. There is a lift. Staff friendly & helpful. Will definitely book again on next trip.

Hotel has a very dark theme. Housekeeping fail to replenish tea tray, kept having to ask for tea bags at reception. Shower gel empty on arrival and remained that way for 3 days. Very noisy maintenance work in room above starting at 8am is not acceptable in any hotel. Far superior hotels for similar costs in the area .... Would I stay again...... Very unlikely.

Great location. Near Queen St. Train Station (very walkable) Friendly customer service. Overall a great stay. Can be a little loud; primarily, due to location in a pub and restaurant section of town.

Room was freezing and air con blowing cold air that wouldn't go off. After speaking to reception and being advised one she was the only one there and two maintaince not due in until the morning. She did try to reset but after 3 hours (2 in the morning) we were offered another room which was just as cold. No sleep and not even an apology. Also wellness suite, not sure why you have to book because still not enough beds for the amount of people there and on the two occasions we went there was not a drop of water in the tank. Very disappointing birthday stay

Amazing stay to celebrate one week married. Will definitely be back. Every member of staff we encountered was so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Bed was so comfortable. Cannot think of a single fault.

Positives; The staff were very friendly, and the hotel is in a great location. The room was clean and of a good size. Recently refurbished, with a nice vibe. I didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked nice and the menu looked good. Negatives: The Expedia listing mentioned that I could expect a complimentary room upgrade and free spa treatment due to my Gold status- didn't get either of these. There was no mention at checkin of any hotel ammenities, i had to phone and ask for the wifi password. The view from the room was quite depressing - an internal courtyard. The bed wasn't the most comfortable - mattress was too hard, but that's just personal preference I guess. The double bed was also one of those two singles linked together, which was had an uncomfortable ridge right down the middle. The bed also had no mattress protector, which is not great from a cleanliness perspective. I found a large black hair when I pulled back the sheets to inspect the mattress. The final point is probably the worst part, when getting ready to sleep, I pulled back the covers only to find a strange round nylon object between the sheets. I have no idea what it was. Not great to find something from the previous guest in the bed. Makes me wonder if the bedding was fresh (although to be fair the bedding did feel and smell clean). I mentioned these things at checkout and the girl was very apologetic, maybe I was just unlucky, but the issues did spoil an otherwise pleasant stay. 5/10

This hotel was very convenient for the train station as it’s only a 3 min walk away. The staff were very pleasant but the lighting in the room was not good. The breakfast was extremely poor there was no croissants, 20min wait for the haggis and a poor selection of bread. This is not what you expect when you pay nearly £200 for 1 night.

The location, cleanliness and the staff were all excellent. Only small issue with the room was the tv would constantly lose signal therefore you really need to have your own Netflix account. The breakfast was I am sorry to say mediocre at best, some improvement required. These issues are small and did not deter from a very comfortable stay and we would definitely stay again and a big thank you to a very friendly staff.
