Charming family owned hotel, friendly staff.

Lovely traditional style hotel on the side of the lake with beautiful views. We had a great room which was more like a suite so we could chill after each days long walks. The staff were very friendly, relaxed and helpful, and they made the trip special as it was my husband's birthday. It also seemed like a lot of the locals came to eat there. Charming all round.

The property is family owned and operated- it has a very cosy and comfortable feeling. A European hotel, with a welcoming feeling- definitely not something we have in America

Hotel Review

We had 3 rooms and two of the rooms were for doubles and the third one was for a single. Although we paid the same price for the 2 double rooms one had a Lake view and the other was in the back. It was not the hotels fault but it was very hot and the rooms were not air conditioned and they were very uncomfortable.

Land Hotel Grunberg am see- Beautiful view

We stayed one night at this hotel. It's located beside the lake and the view is very beautiful. 7-10 minutes drive from the hotel to the city center. Staff were very friendly. Food guality was good.

On the lake

On the brinks of the eastern shore of Lake Traun, a big spacy hotel with a fine restaurant on the first floor. The stuff is nice and helpful. The room was spacious though modest. The hotel has a private beach on the lake and the inner and outer restaurants are facing it. A real nice place.

My room was a kind of isolated one, which window side was just infront of building wall. So, you need to make a reservation for lake-view side.
