We stayed 5 nights at Chevron Rennaisance on the 30th floor. 3 different and beautiful views from the balconies and bedrooms. The balcony in particular had unobstructed views of the ocean. We saw humpback whales just past where people were surfing every morning while eating breakfast off our balcony! The 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment was very clean, big couch, comfy beds, huge balcony, good kitchen and laundry. A little tricky finding the key pick up office, which is nearby but not in the actual hotel itself. Parking was also tricky to find the first time but once you know where to go it's an absolutely fantastic place to stay, right in the heart of Surfers. Thanks Wow, we'll be back again!

Most enjoyable stay

Great location, a little difficult to find booking office which is in Circle on Cavill but staff there were wonderful and had everything printed out with photos for accessing car parking. The unit was lovely, level 8, fabulous views from bedrooms and balconies. It was well equiped, comfortable beds and clean. Laundry within the unit, we were able to walk to everything and light rail was very handy, we had a great stay.

We stayed in a 2 bed self contained Hinterland View apartment for 6 nights. The complex has amazing facilities for families, pools, gym, outdoor bbq, parking onsite. Unfortunately the foyer of the building had a disgusting sceptic smell which got progressively worse throughout our stay and ended up in the lifts. The lifts were extremely slow which meant guests constantly crammed in like sardines as no one wished to be waiting for the next one due to them taking so long in between. The air conditioning in our apartment was set to 22 degrees with signage in the room asking you not to adjust it lower, this was quite warm as the room got all the afternoon sun and the air conditioner could not cope. The building is centrally located and has plenty of shops and eateries at your doorstep.

The place was ok but the way to collect keys and access was totally terrible. I dont recommend this place if you are travelling with kids because of the inconvenience of collecting keys when arriving late at night.

Place was great. I will stay here again. Car park was quite confusing the first time and where to leave your car for finding the check in desk as it is not at the hotel reception. Other than this is in the best location to just leave your car and walk everywhere. There is also a Safeway underneath if you want to cook. My room was nicely decorated.
