Motel that did the job. Quiet. Clean and decent beds. Staff was friendly. Property has a hotub, sauna and pool. Pool is even equipped with a very fun waterslide! Property iteslef is a little dated and in what felt like a more industrial area. Had to drive to get somewhere with food. Has a decent breakfast, equipped with a pancake maker, some fresh fruit, eggs and yogurts.

Don't go for the coffee
Great economical stay in Golden. Friendly staff and clean accommodations. This location was just off the highway enough that it was quiet. They offered a free basic breakfast. The area was clean and well stocked. They had, what looked like, a very expensive and new coffee machine in the breakfast area. Unfortunately, this machine was the SLOWEST hotel coffee machine EVER. Crowds waiting in the morning as it dispensed one small cup at a time. Not a machine meant for busy holiday weekend travelers. What a complete waste of money. They should, at the very least, offered an alternative coffee dispenser. We decided to go to the nearby McDonald's for our second cup. It was much faster than trying to get a refill at the hotel. The wait for a refill at the hotel was about 25 mins. Crazy.

The hot tub needed cleaning and there was no net to do it, the sauna didn’t work and the towel rack in our room above the toilet fell apart when I went to take off a towel. The room was clean however and breakfast was good.
