Very quiet except for noisy plumbing or heating noise from bathroom wall. That may have just been my room, as no noise heard from other rooms, good soundproofing. Good walking access to restaurants.

Our second stay here. Incredibly clean and only one block from fabulous pub and supermarket. Great price and no fuss check-in. Loads of off street parking. Only problem was out bathroom door self-locked (inappropriate door handle fitted) Because it was Sunday Reception was unattended. Off-site manager didn't answer. phone. We were checking out but couldn't use the bathroom/shower that day.

Better on the inside
This place looks dilapidated from the outside but the inside is new, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Heating was effective, bed very comfortable. Bathroom was compact but so what, the water was hot and shower pressure was high. Excellent location close to railway station, shops, cafes, and tourist information.

Basic standard room ok for one night
Our room was located upstairs in the middle of a long hallway so it was difficult to carry the suitcase up stairs. . The room was clean although the tap in the hand basin was loose and hard to use. The blind did not extend past window frame so night safety light in the car park shone into the room. Bathroom had no window.
