The cabin looks exactly as represented in the photos. The kitchen is fully-functional with an ice-cold fridge waiting for our food. The water gets nice and hot. There are two full-sized beds (one in each room), which are a bit small for two full-sized adults, but the rooms were cozy. One of the beds is more comfortable than the other, so I recommend claiming your room first. It was not cold enough for us to use the fireplace (small wood stove) or heater, but both were there. We filled the hummingbird feeder on the porch with 1 part sugar per 4 parts water, and watched as 6 or 7 hummingbirds hung out with us all week. You can see the nearest neighbors, but they aren't really "in your face". You could only hear their cars going by and, one day, a chainsaw being used. The kitchen had everything you really need to cook and bake. I would make sure to bring your own dry goods because unless you like crushed red pepper and a couple other random spices, you'll be out of luck. The patio was great for sitting, and faced away from the neighbors. The gas grill had plenty of propane and worked well. A starter bundle of firewood is out there for your use as well. The town of Greer is about a mile away, which was an easy, leisurely walk or bike ride. In the town are a couple shops, post office, restaurants. Lovely people. We will be staying here again for sure.
