I like that it had a Convenience store downstairs I like the amount of restaurants. I also liked the live music on the Weeknd. I didn’t like the chemical smell in the hallways. It was too strong, but not bad.

So, I missed my flight out of Guadalajara to Acapulco, and needed a place to stay for the night. I remembered seeing that there was a Hard Rock Hotel in Guadalajara, so booked a room and caught a cab from the airport. From the moment I got out of the cab, I was impressed. This place looks and feels like a 4/5 Star resort. It's quite lovely inside and out. Checking in was great and the person who helped me even asked which floor I preferred, and then gave me a corner unit, which was great. The rooms are super cool, modern, unique, and comfortable. bathrooms are fantastic with walk in shower with rain head shower. Restaurants are amazing and I mean seriously wonderful. The rooftop pool is also a treat, with wonderful views and great service for drinks and food. Everyone there is super friendly and actually wanting to help. I was so impressed that I cancelled my reservations at a different Guadalajara hotel after I returned from Acapulco, to stay here another night, and it was equally as great. I plan on returning...and everyone who reads this should plan on checking it out.

The washroom had a bad smell then upon turning the water it become worse. The water was yellow. We called right after check in around pm. We left to a dinner engagement, and when we return leave at night. Nothing was resolved. We had to shower in our other families washroom. The smell was so intense that we put towels on the door of the bathroom. They tried to compensate us with a breakfast, but that was that sufficient for us. It’s supposed to be one of the best hotels in Guadalajara.
