We enjoyed our stay and the location and weather were great!! Recommendations….the kitchen was poorly equipped (no pot holders, the knives were dull), lack of comfortable outdoor furniture, weak WiFi reception, insufficient towels and wash cloths (found others on last day left in washer) hot water heater alarm kept going off during the night). Did contact owner and they responded quickly.

It’s a winner
Second time at this house and it’s a great find. Overall, the house is great. A lot of space for family dinners and movie nights, with plenty of beds/rooms for everyone. So close to the beach and nice secluded location.

Good location, but property has issues
This property has potential, but needs attention. The house was not clean, the AC upstairs stopped working, and there were visible issues with the house. The thermostats kept kicking back to high temps and we were hot all week. But!! Can’t beat the location, the beach is beautiful and not crowded in that area, the owner was easy to get in touch with and was responsive to the issues we had.

We enjoyed our stay ! The location and convenience to the beach was perfect ! Beds were super comfy but we did feel like the house could use a good deep clean . I realize it’s peak season and turn around time is short but baseboards and walls could use a good wipe down as well as cleaning under all furniture .

Fun Family Week
We had a fantastic stay at Salty Pelican. The location is wonderful. Close to Sassy Bass and Tacky Jacks restaurants. We enjoyed being directly on the beach. The kids could go to and from the beach easily. The little pool ended up being a favorite for the kids. The kitchen is well stocked. We also enjoyed the family room being large enough for our family to relax and play games. We are looking forward to returning. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great family vacation!
Family vacation with 8 adults and 3 children ages 7 to 9. The house was perfect for us, just steps from a beautiful private beach area. The pool was small but the kids loved it. Had an issue with the washing machine caused by a previous guest. The host immediately let us know and even though it was Memorial Day weekend, was able to rectify the situation with no inconvenience to us whatsoever. Will definitely be returning!!

Loved our vacation!
We had the best time this last week at this house!! Perfect set up for a big group with ours ranging from 6 years old to 56 years old! House was exactly as listed and so beautiful! We did notice the pool wasn’t working correctly so I messaged the owner and she called me within minutes and had the pool guy there that same day to fix it! We will definitely be booking this house again in the future!

Great week at the beach!
The house was awesome! It had everything we needed plus so much more. The beach was at our doorstep. Great living area big enough for our 10 adults and 6 children. The walk-in showers were nice. Plenty of beach chairs and accessories. Great location. Because there were no closets in the bedrooms, it would have been nice to have a few hooks for hanging clothes. Well stocked kitchen, but we missed the can opener, measuring cups, etc. in the island drawer until late in the week because it didn’t have a handle. It didn’t look like a drawer. All in all, a great week!

This house was wonderful for a family or a group. The rooms are well laid out, and the noise from one room to another is minimal. This little gem was perfect for our crew of 14 including 5 littles 5 and under. The double queen beds were perfect for the families and the dipping pool was just the right size for the kids. Really well appointed! Tons of chairs, toys, tents, etc for your use.

Love the house
We had total of 8 and this house fit us all. The beds in this house are very comfortable. The location and the private beach is amazing. The house had everything you need. The pool was nice to sit in and just relax after a long day at the beach. Shae was awesome to work with and she respond quickly to questions. I will differently be renting this house again for sure. It's the best.

Superb location
We couldn't have asked for more for our stay at the beach. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the kitchen and living area are large enough and well-equipped. Being able to walk out the back door and being right at the beach was amazing for the whole group.

Great family vacation!
We were here with our children and grandchildren and had a fantastic vacation. It was perfect for all ages. We loved having the pool and the beach was just steps from the house. The kitchen had all the necessities. The beverage fridge and ice maker were perfect to have . Beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Space
My family (12 of us) and I were able to stay in this beautiful home and it did not disappoint. The proximity to the beach was amazing, everyone had their own bed/bedroom, the living/kitchen space was perfect for hanging out during rainy days, and the pool was just the addition the kids needed at the end of a long beach day. The host was easy to get a hold of when we had questions and speedy in her reply when we needed something for the home. I would 10/10 recommend this beach home.

We loved this property! Location is perfect. The beach is amazing. My only issue is the cleanliness of the property. It could use a good deep cleaning. The couch needs a new cover. It was dirty and smelled. The baseboards in the bathrooms need a good wipe down and so do the kitchen cabinets. Overall it as great.
