Nice place, great location!

Our family of 5 stayed here for a week. We loved that it was right on the beach, had 2 pools, and was in a great location close to everything. The condo had a nice layout and had almost everything we needed. We loved the balcony and the washer and dryer were great to have. The bunk room is smaller than we expected, but it worked for our youngest son. One had to sleep on the sofa since he was too tall for the bunk. The Master bed is in need of a replacement. It was pretty firm, and made a lot of creaking noises. It wasnt the best sleep we've had. The bed in the other room was very comfy. The floors were filthy when we arrived, so we picked up a cheap swiffer and cleaned it ourselves. Some of the vents need a good cleaning. Communication with the owners was great. We told them about something that needed to be fixed, and a maintenance person came within the next hour and fixed it. Overall the condo was in good condition and we enjoyed our time in Gulf Shores. Thank you!

Great beach condo

Over all the condo was a great stay! The view is incredible and the kitchen is well stocked. We cooked the whole time and had everything we needed. The balcony floor was a bit dirty and the pools were sometimes not cleaned well. We would definitely stay here again though!

Clean and comfortable with a great location

The condo was clean, open, and everything functioned. It is directly above the pool, which can get loud, but the sliding balcony doors are heavy and keep that noise outside. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Amenities are as advertised and the whole family had a great time.

Wonderful place

We were a family of 7 people (adults and older teenagers). The location was great. Close enough to the main part of town but far enough away that you did not hear the music late at night. The bunk bed room is a bit small. Everything else exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this place.

My thanksgiving

The process to rent was very easy. The location and facilities were excellent. We loved the balcony view, appliances in kitchen, and the full washer/dryer. The only concerns we had were (1) thought the $40/car was high; the third bedroom with bunk beds was really small and the two teenagers we had there were cramped (but again, we weren’t there to stay in the rooms, when you had the beautiful beach and pools); and lastly the couch set in the living room area was very uncomfortable. Other than this, we thoroughly enjoyed our thanksgiving week and plan to return.

Overall very nice

Overall this place was great. Outstanding location on the 4th floor overlooking the beach. Very spacious and comfortable. Lots of comfortable patio furniture. The only issues were as some others have said, the couch inside had a lot of stains and the master bed mattress is a plastic covered material which I do appreciate but it was thin and very squeaky. We all had a wonderful time though and would stay again. One additional thing I feel wasn’t sufficiently noted up front before making reservations is that the HOA charges $40 per vehicle for the duration of the stay.

Girls Trip

Lighthouse was wonderful as always. Love this property. Unit was also wonderful. The only problem we had was that there was no toaster. There was supposed to be one there but after searching high and low we never found it. It didn’t really bother us much, but would have been nice to have. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice condo

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. 4th floor was convenient and the unit was close to the elevator, making long walks from the beach more bare able, especially with kids. Balcony was great, loved the furniture out there. It was very comfy and roomy. The master bedroom mattress is in great need of an upgrade, it was very firm. Also, the master shower head needs replaced. The water would spray all directions and even get through shower door and all over the floor. All in all in was a great unit and we enjoyed ourselves.

Unit was clean and great location but needs some updates for comfort.

We stayed a week in a lower floor unit near the elevators for a BaseballYouth tournament. The unit was a great location, clean, and loads of kitchenware. I agree with prior review that a nonstick skillet is needed for breakfasts. And, agree that the king mattress desperately needs replaced, it is uncomfortable and loud. One last item would be the televisions in the rooms are VERY outdated. For the price, I would expect more comfortable accommodations in mattresses and couch. We had 5 other families staying this week in the lighthouse that all had updated electronics and comfortable seating/sleeping accommodations. Great locations but needs a few updates to support the price.

July vacation

The condo itself was very clean and neat. The view from the balcony is excellent and the access to the beach was fantastic! We did not have any concerns related to the actual condo. Our check in process was a bit difficult. We arrived early and I called the office to be told someone would call us if the condo was clean before 2pm but we would receive a text for sure between 2-4 with the door code. We were granted access to the parking garage and beach while we waited. At 4 when I hadn’t received a text, we went up to tue condo to see no one there. I then called at 430 to be told the condo “was just cleaned” and she provided me with the door code. The public access bathrooms on the 1st floor of the building are also in desperate need of cleaning and updating. The womens bathroom also needs to be able to close the door for privacy. So we just ran up to our condo bathrooms all week instead.

Enjoyed our stay on 4th floor. Right above the pool however would like to be couple floors higher due to noise when on balcony. When in condo noise is no issue. Spacious outside area and front view to ocean the bunk area was great nook for kids

The overall stay was positive. There was a handful of dirty common areas around the condo that should have been cleaned. Strands of hair were randomly found. The outdoor patio cushions looked moldy; at very least, stained with something that looked moldy. The coffee pot was not functional. This sounds very bad when they are all spelled out on here, but the overall stay was still great. Beyond these issues the rest of the condo and furnishings were still very nice and aesthetically pleasing. We appreciated that the condo provided a free small bottle of dish soap among a few other things. Something we would have forgotten.
