Maui fun
The jeep camping was wonderful adventure, we were able to reach a more remote area because of the off road capability of the jeep which meant more privacy and an awesome experience for me and my husband to wake up and unzip the tent to see beautiful ocean front whale watching with only the two of us.

Great way to explore maui!
Had a wonderful time, we stayed half of our trip in the jeep. Sebastian was kind enough to meet us at the airport upon arrival and went through how to use everything. The jeep came equipped with everything we needed. It was very windy and rainy our first couple nights and the tent held up just fine. Sebastian met us again at when our time with the jeep was up and he even gave us a ride to the rental car place we needed to get to. Would definitely rent from him again! Thank you!

This was an awesome experience! Sebastian was a great host and on time when picking up and dropping off vehicle. Everything was safe and secure. The tent went up in 5 min and was so easy to set up. We were able to experience the beauty of Maui in a camper and we felt safe the whole time. Sebastian had everything you needed to bedding, towels, cooler, chairs and a mini propane to cook eggs in the morning. Overall 10/10!

Sebastian was very friendly, responsive and super easy to work with, and the Jeep and all equipment was there and working as it should. We needed nothing and were very pleased with the whole thing. Great way to see Maui off the beaten path! Will look Sebastian up next time we’re on the island, mahalo!

Awesome!!
This was the most fun trip we’ve ever taken!! The Jeep was clean, and ran perfectly, absolutely no issues. The tent worked flawlessly as well. We slept in wind and rain and were kept dry and comfortable. The Jeep has everything you could need: blankets, sheets, pillows, air mattress, a cooler, a grill, plates and utensils, and some other random items that other renters have left behind like a headlamp and phone charging ports. Sebastian was great, we even had to change plans last minute(push our trip forward a day) and he was flexible so that we could maximize our time with the rental. He also was willing to meet us at the airport. In my opinion, if you don’t have kids, this is the best way to vacation in Hawaii. I think that any negative reviews about this come from people that would most likely not enjoy tent camping whether it was Sebastian’s rental or not. Camping is camping, you’ll have to search for public restrooms and showers, eat out of a cooler, deal with the weather, set up and put away the tent daily, and possibly pay for a place to park/sleep depending where you choose to stay. We camped for free on the beach every night just northwest of Kihei other than the night we paid to camp before hiking to the top of Haleakalā. The Jeep allowed us to drive to whatever part of the island we wanted to see, and the free beach spot was pretty well centered on the west side of the island allowing us to go north or south and run into a great place either way! Overall, we LOVED this vacation! We will definitely be returning and renting the Jeep to take the road to Hāna. Just be sure that camping is something that you enjoy before booking this trip! We camp often at home and love the simplicity of it. If you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t for you.

Super fun!
We stayed 4 nights in the tent, and we were wishing for more! The jeep came equipped with everything we needed - a stove, ice chest, chairs, linens, etc. Sebastian met us and got us set up and we were on our way! Our trip started with the road to Hana, and we stayed the first night at the YMCA campground in Keanae. It was rainy and windy on this side of the island, but we were dry and warm inside the tent. We felt safe on the road itself when driving the jeep, and had a fun time pulling over and seeing the waterfalls. The next two nights we stayed at Camp Olowalu, and the last at Punalau beach. Punalau beach was the most secluded, and it was very fun to be on the beach and hear the waves at night. We cooked often on the stove and enjoyed using all the supplies that were provided. I would highly recommend to anyone who is okay with a little adventure! Sebastian was very helpful and a great host.

My wife and I are experienced campers and thought this might be a great way to experience Maui....Nope!!! Equipment in poor condition....Biggest issues ...No heat in jeep , 12 volt phone charger not working, various fastening straps either broken or missing . Zap straps holding lawn chair together and the ultimate deal breaker was the tent unit leaking badly..Charged top dollar for sub standard equipment and worst of all Owner will not discuss a fair partial refund or communicate at all for that matter... I am certain this was a good rental when new/newer however maintenance and or upgrading are now needed to justify the rate being charged..My wife and I were very disapointed and ended up having to incur the expense of a condo to salvage the holiday....Signed ...still wanting a refund

An Experience
fun times. lots of flexibility to enjoy all of maui at your own pace. ideal to drive to hanna area, camp a night or two there, then drive back. Doing the hanna road there and back in a day is brutal. very car sick and rushed if done in one day. negative: our substantial refundable damage deposit was held from time of booking and is returned 2 weeks after our check out date. a large amount held for over 5 weeks. We picked the jeep up in a parking lot and key was in a lock box. No one was there to go over the jeep condition and equipment to show us all the pieces and how they worked. We did not figure out the solar charger, the solar lamp did not last long, and we never found the head lamps until we cleaned up and checked out. We were not met again to go over the jeep to ensure all was good and we would expect the entire damage deposit back and when. the pop top tent also was missing 4 metal poles that were supposed keep vents open and supported. making for poor air flow and water shedding some nights, and loud loose flapping pieces on windy nights. We had a great time. The details / logistics in jeep pick up / drop off and deposit hold was inconvenient and not very reassuring.

Adventure with Accessibility
What an amazing way to see the island. As a long time Maui lover, I’ve always wanted a way to see the island in a unique, affordable and adventurous way. Sebastian makes sure that the Jeep is not only able to get you around the island, but stocks it fully with everything you’d ever need for an amazing, adventurous camping trip. He was quick to respond and always available to answer any questions we had when setting up the reservation / finding the vehicle at the airport. Great experience!

Amazing adventure!!!
We stayed 4 days in the Jeep celebrating our 10 year anniversary. It was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. We did the trip to Hana and stayed at a different place every night. We did the 4 mile hike to the Waimoku falls at the Ohe’o pools. It was definitely the best part of our trip. We stayed at Haleakalā that night. The wind and rain whipped so hard and that tent held up like a champ. Everything inside stayed dry. We love camping and enjoyed every minute we spent in the Jeep. It’s equipped with everything you could possibly think of. We had a blast stopping at all the little stops along the Hana highway. We would definitely recommend this Jeep to other adventure seekers. We had the best time!! Thank you Sebastian for sharing your Jeep adventure with us. Sincerely Tawnie & Brad from Oregon

Wonderful experience
What a wonderful experience! I completely recommend adventuring across Maui in this way. The tent was very easy to set up and was pretty comfortable. For convenience we didn’t use the air mattress, though it was available, and the foam pad was comfortable. All the necessary supplies were provided for camping. The Jeep itself was comfortable and easy to manage even on the more rugged roads. I would recommend the Kapahuli and W’ianapanapa camp grounds. Hosmer in Haleakalā was also nice, though there isn’t designated space for the camper Jeep and it is quite chilly so be prepared.

Great way to experience Maui!
My husband and I rented this Jeep for part of our honeymoon and I am so glad we did! We got to experience Maui like most people don't. We started our journey on the Road to Hana and spent the first night at Black Sand Beach. While the campground wasn't anything spectacular, the beach was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. Our second night we spent at Camp Olowalu. The amenities there are great, but you definitely aren't sleeping on the beach. All the Jeeps/Camper Vans have to sleep in the parking lot. I would recommend tent camping at this location if anything. Our last night was spent at Windmill Beach. It was a rough drive down the road, but that's why you have a Jeep! This beach was BEAUTIFUL! Best camping spot we had the entire trip. There were some day trippers that left around 5PM, and then it was just us there. That camping spot was right on the beach and we fell asleep and woke up with the view of the ocean and listening to the waves crashing. I'm so glad we experienced the entire Road to Hana, but this was the only camping spot that we stayed at that was truly beach camping. Overall we had a wonderful time! Sebastian was very responsive and helpful. He even dropped the Jeep off at the airport so we could drive away with it when we landed, which was super convenient. The Jeep was equipped with almost everything we needed for an excellent camping trip. It was definitely a fun memorable honeymoon!

Giving 3 stars mainly for convenience/customer service issues
There are many other Jeep/tent rentals out there and if I could re-do it, I would. Sebastian was not accommodating. Before I even booked this rental I clarified if we could pick up from the airport, and was told yes. So I went ahead and booked, and again clarified once the rental was confirmed that we would be needing it at the airport. Well the day before we arrived Sebastian reached out to make arrival arrangements. Again we said our time for arriving at the airport to make plans for pickup. He never responded until AFTER we landed in Maui at the airport with sketchy service and said he “couldn’t find a ride to the airport”, so the Jeep was parked on the side of the road in Paia with the key in a lockbox on the door handle. Uber’s from the airport are $50+ dollars for the 10mile ride to Paia and he will NOT reimburse you for that Uber so factor that in to your budget. Although it’s not a far Uber, it’s very expensive and VERY inconvenient to have to hurry up and figure out accommodations to get to our rental last second. Once we got the Jeep, it had pretty much everything you need for camping. The stove/propane attachment doesn’t work properly and requires 1 person holding the tank the entire time while the other cooks but that wasn’t a big deal. The air mattress was originally stated that it was included but we found out after we already set up camp that the batteries in the pump were leaking battery acid everywhere and it didn’t work. After reaching out to Sebastian saying we bought all new batteries for his pump ($15) he then added to the details of the post that batteries were not included. The tent does have a thin pad that in a situation where you had a sleeping bag it would be ok. But with only a fitted sheet between you, the pad, and the hard base it is not very comfortable. So that wasn’t the most pleasant surprise after a day of hiking. The tent itself was super easy to set up, took about 10min. We also drove in the rain for the entire road to Hana and woke up to rain that morning and our tent was dry the entire time! Overall we had a great time exploring in our Jeep Wrangler tent and would do it again in a heartbeat, but would use a different company that is more organized and customer focused.

We loved staying in the jeep... such an easy set up and take down. We got to see a lot of Maui that we might not have gotten the chance if we didn't get to stay over night wherever we wanted. We made it on any road and got to enjoy the most beautiful parts of maui.. definitely would recommend doing this! Sebastian is awesome and so easy to get a hold of! Loved it ❤❤

What fun!!!!
Sebastian was very helpful and accommodating...making the process easy. The jeep and camper were great. Allowed us freedom of movement to enjoy all of Maui. Easy to set up and well equipped...even had beach towels :) Mattress was surprisingly comfortable. 4 wheel drive allowed us to travel places we would not be able in a conventional rental. Most car rentals will not allow you to do the south/east portion of island due to road conditions. After travelling this road, I see why...it's rough! Jeep made it easy. Stayed on beaches a few nights....awesome. Right at the ocean, on a beach watching the whales...doesn't get any better Great experience ...highly recommend both Sebastian and the Glamper :)

Awesome way to explore Maui
The jeep was fully decked out with everything you need to have a great camping experience. Just pick up some groceries, ice, and propane and hit the road! Sebastian’s recommendations for where to camp were also very good. The tent was easy enough to set up and tear down, but be careful tearing down if it’s raining. The mattress is exposed before you get the cover secured and it’s no fun when it gets wet. Other than that we had no problems, except that the jeep got a little smelly bc of the wetness, but that’s all part of camping! I would definitely recommend this if you are into camping and adventure.

What a great experience!
We had an absolute blast with this Jeep surfing all week - Sebastian gave us great tips where to visit, and provided us with everything we needed - 2 burner stove, sheets, blankets, pillows, bottle openers, cutlery, and all the necessities... even a solar charger for our phones!! This was glamping at it's best - and what a great way to explore the island!! Thanks Sebastian!
