I enjoyed almost everything, especially the really large and varied buffet breakfast. My only negative comment is that I could often hear noise in the hallway.Maybe the rooms could be soundproofed better.

If you don’t mind walking up the hill from the waterfront area, this hotel beats the downtown options. The roof deck was closed for repairs, but it looked like a great spot for photos or sky watching.

I've stayed in numerous hotels in the area and consider this one to be among the best value. This hotel was less than half the price of where I stayed my previous visit and while not as modern, it was certainly better than expected for the price point. The room doors should probably be replaced with something more efficient at blocking out hallway noise though. On my last night a group were having a party in the room down the hall but always people coming and going talking loudly in the hall which disturbed my evening.

The rooms were great, I found it odd that there was an extra cost for meat with the hot breakfast. $6 charge if you wanted bacon or sausage. The TVs were not smart and couldn't cast movies from phone or tablet. Otherwise everything was great.
