Paul was very friendly at Reception and he gave us great information about sights to see etc. The studios are excellent, quiet and clean, private , spa bath even and well equipped kitchen. The best thing are the friendly kangaroos, birds and garden. So close to the cabins!

We had the most fantastic stay at D'Altons Studio. This place is absolutely impeccable - location, service, the quality of the room facilities and amenities. Everything was well kept and maintained. There were no children and the whole site was quiet and peaceful except for the sound of wildlife. We really liked the outdoor space with a hand-made pond - it was like having a park/zoo/nature garden right in front of our cabin. The owners, Ngaire and Paul, are very friendly and knowledgeable. From their extensive experience as travellers themselves, they know exactlty what guests would want. D'Altons Studio provides a perfect getaway for couple. We will definitely be back.

The self-contained studio cottages are well maintained, warm and comfortable. The property is very quiet. The small kitchenette comes with all kitchenware you might need. Plenty of wildlife to watch from the porch of the cottage while you enjoy a wine. The shops and eateries are close by as well as many of the Grampian sights and walks. Had an enjoyable stay.

Beautifully maintained gardens with roaming kangaroos and Emu, running waters give the place a very tranquil feel. Perfectly quiet at night, yet just a two minute walk from the village centre, so an ideal location. Owner managers, friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely like to stay again given the opportunity!

This is my second time staying here and I cant wait to come back again. Everything you need, well connected to everything Halls gap has to offer. Walking distance to cafes/brewery/icecream (take your pick) but nestled in a quiet spot. As a single traveler this is a great spot with reasonable rates to kick back and unwind, while still being connected. Great hosts as well, excellent communication.
