The perfect spot for our trip

Lou's Loft was situated perfectly for our trip to the area. We were very comfortable during our stay, and lacked for nothing. There is road noise, but the hosts provided a white noise machine in the front room to help with that. If you're looking for a place that is close enough to everything, without being in the middle of it all, Lou's Loft is a fantastic option. We would stay here again without hesitation!

Description of property location a little misleading

My husband and I was in the area to attend ThunderValley Drag racing in Bristol for the weekend. We picked the location because in the listing it stated it was on a river and my husband wanted to be able to wake up and see the river. There was no river insight. We drove it the way the entire time.

Difficulty locating / musty odor

Had difficulty locating after arriving late at night. Went to location provided with GPS. Walked around the building and was confronted by a man apparently hanging out behind the building which startled us to say the least. Decided to go find another room to rent for the night so ended up having to drive into Kingsport. Nevertheless, went back the next day to try to find. Wasn’t well marked. Ended up paying for two rentals for the night which cost us well over $500 total for the night. Otherwise, the place after it was located appeared clean but it had a strong musty odor to it. Unfortunately we will not go back. Sorry… just being honest.

Loved the location for hiking on Roan Mountain and around Watauga Lake. Place has a ton of character and is the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in. Great little porch. Pictures don’t do it justice.

Great little apartment!

Very nice and comfortable little apartment loft. Centralized for good hiking trails and close enough to town if you want to go grab a bite to eat! Very clean! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay for two friends!

Property had everything we needed and was very clean. Instructions were clear. Beds were comfortable. We even had Netflix! It’s close to the Appalachian trail, waterfalls and we enjoyed the Saturday evening car show!
