Checkin was excellent, very friendly staff. Asked if we wanted to become a member, which we did and in return received a free glass of wine. Were able to check in early too. Room was clean, lovely large bed and a mirror in front of a desk with plugs - why can’t more hotels do this? Didn’t eat at the hotel in the evening but when we came back to get a drink in the bar were told that they didn’t do cocktails after 11pm?!?! Room was quiet during the night and had a great sleep, however, could hear next door’s phone and them coughing in the morning. Breakfast was definitely a mixed experience - we waited a while for a table but were seated by a friendly member of staff. Only one coffee machine, which meant long queues and then it wasn’t the best coffee. My husband had a full English but when I went up there was nothing left, and the food trays were constantly empty, and took a while to get refilled. Overall, rooms and hotel in general great, convenient location, but food and drinks service in need of improvement.

Great night in Harrogate

Great Hotel, superb value for money. Brilliant location with a few minutes walking distance of the Town and all it's attractions like Bettys and The Ivy, as well as Valley Gardens. Excellent room with King Bed for £67 a night. Underground parking reasonable at £12 a day and plenty of space. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great location, comfort and service

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The hotel is only a 5-10 minute walk from the central restaurants, bars and historical sights. Friendly staff, very clean throughout and convenient underground parking.
