Check-in would have been easier if advice had been given on finding underground car park. "We have a park with 150 spaces under the hotel" isn't enough, when the nearby parks are branded for the Conference Centre.

Basic - no frills
Hotel was located close to the centre of Harrogate so easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Parking was plentiful. Reception was fairly basic. The room, on the 5th floor, was very disappointing. It was small and cramped, the pillows were hard - like rolled up towels. The bathroom was functional - but nowhere to hang the hand towels, hot water in the basin was piping hot - the shower was luke warm. No face flannels. Lots of handwash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. I had to remake the bed as the bottom sheet was loose and crumpled and the duvet wasn’t in the cover properly. The tv only has terrestrial channels. You will need to take coat hangers if you’re staying for more than a couple of days. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel
Very friendly and welcoming staff cant do enough to hekp you.breakfast was excellent .There was choice of continental or hot breakfast ,lots of choice.All you can eat buffet. Would definitely stay again 5 mins walk from centre so very convenient. The hotel has its own underground car park only downside was parking charge of £12 for 24 hours Hotel has air conditioning which is a plus for hot water.

A modern hotel.
We had a nice room with a king size bed. The room was well appointed plenty of power points. Two negatives were that the pillows are a bit firm and there is a parking fee.

We had a two night break in a premium room. Everything about the stay was great. Central position to easily walk to shops and restaurants. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast. We were on the 9th floor, it was very quiet.

From parking the car and getting to reception it was a pleasure, louise on reception was very professional but also fun and chatty. We were given a free upgrade too, we paid for the breakfast and dinner and ive got to say all was superb. We have stayed here earlier in the year with the same results . We will definitely be back an absolutely wonderful experience both hotel and staff
