Terrible experience! First of all, the property is located right on the service road of the LIE, so we had to listen to cars and trucks on the highway all night. We also had the pleasure of listening to some idiot racing his car and screeching his tires in the adjacent parking lot. The hotel is very outdated and could use a major overhaul. The people and surrounding area seemed very sketchy. Our room was right next to the elevator and ice machine. At 6:30am, someone decided to fill their bucket, for what seemed like 20 minutes. The staff was very polite and offered to move our room, but we decided to leave two nights early and find some place else. Unfortunately, Expedia would not issue us a refund or credit towards another hotel. Very disappointing…..

This property was rated 4.1 stars and I can’t imagine how. The breakfast was mediocre at best. I did not feel safe in this hotel with all the pot smokers hanging around outside the entrance. Not to mention that our room was entered into, by presumably the staff, and our belongings rifled through while we were away even though the “do not disturb sign” was clearly present on the door! Though thankfully nothing was stolen (because I NEVER leave anything of value in a hotel room because of such shenanigans), I did not file a police report. I have never had such an experience at a hotel! Save your time and money and pass this one by!!
