Greatest host ever!
Cozy, quirky old Vedado house right by the Malecon! We stayed in the split-level family room, where the two bedrooms are connected by a spiral staircase. Armando gave us terrific maps and recommendations. The dinners at nearby Casa Mia and Atelier were especially incredible. He turned us on to Juan Lopez cigars and did an impromptu Havana Club rum tasting one night. There is also a sparkling-clean, tiled jacuzzi-sized pool that our kid loved. Great 5 CUC breakfast. You can walk a few blocks to the Cohiba lobby and buy a wi-fi card. And you can take a cab for 5-10 CUCs pretty much anywhere in town. Armando does a lot for the community, too, so if you want to bring relief supplies or anything like that he can help you get it to the people who need it.

Lovely!
Beautiful home! Armando knows Cuba. He gave us great advice and great recommendations. The casa was clean and decorated beautifully. Breakfast was delicious. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Awsome and unique
It was our first time traveling in cuba , cant complain . We really enjoyed the stay . The casa interior was uniq and beautiful. Little pricy but kinda understand that it was holiday season . However the location is not in the central but u can also enjoy local food , club , bar . The owner at casa will explain everything when u get there . We had great time .

Our stay was great, particularly the invaluable tips and advice from Armando. He took plenty of time explaining us all the sights and transport options in Havanna. Really great. We were also very fond of his cute dogs. We would certainly stay again.

Very nice place
Sehr schönes haus mit super sauberen Zimmern und exzellentem Frühstück. Die Altstadt und das Zentrum sind mit Bus oder Taxi nur 5min entfernt, zu Fuß ca. 40min. In unmittelbarer Nöhe gibt es nette Restaurants. Das Englisch des Hosts ist sehr gut und er immer hilfsbereit.

Gran alojamiento. Gran anfitrión.
Espectacular casa colonial, con muy buenas zonas comunes, interiores y exteriores. La habitación con aire acondicionado, muy limpia y baño propio. Muy bien comunicada, al lado del malecón. Lo mejor el anfitrión, que nos asesoró en todo momento para poder disfrutar La Habana en su parte más turística y también menos turística y más alternativa. Muy recomendable.

Bra men inte värt priset
Fint äldre hus, läckert inrett. Rummet rent, dock lossnade kalk (?) från väggarna och allt som vidrörde det fick ett vitt puder på sig (typ resväskorna). Minus var inga fönster på rummet och väldigt lyhört ut till allrummet (även om detta ”hotell” var väldigt dött, vi såg knappt till de andra gästerna). Frukosten var fantastisk även om den var lite liten. Området är rätt slitet och ligger en bit från centrum. På det stora hela var vi nöjda med vistelsen - dock kändes detta lite mer som ett finare Casa Particular (kubanskt hem där man hyr in sig på ett rum) än ett hotell. För att kännas som ett Casa Particular var det lite väl dyrt. Jag skulle rekommendera antingen ett hotell närmare gamla Havanna eller att man letar upp ett regelrätt Casa Particular, antingen på plats eller via airbnb. Man kan få samma standard för mycket billigare.
