Best Havana stay especially for solo female travel
I have visited Cuba many times and this place won my heart. I can validate that location is perfect in the heart of old Havana. This place is a home and the hosts are kind and good natured and protective. They wanted to know if I needed a ride, they suggested the best walking routes for safety. They offered privacy and the warmth of being treated like family. The breakfast was good, and included heart shaped cinnamon waffles. Yes, they won my heart. It is not like a hotel but has the comfort of a hotel. I felt like I had rented a home instead of a room. I knew if I had some difficulty they would offer to solve it, without waiting for me to ask. I will stay here when I return. They are a kind and radiant couple and I feel so lucky to have stayed here. A few extra highlights: comfortable mattress, no issues with mosquitos, Juan y Yusneidis found out about how much I love flan and they produced a big fabulous homemade flan for the entire house. They are the warmest of Cubans. I want to stress that this is a home as well as a hotel room. Cuba has challenges and staying with Juan y Yusneidis gives you support and protection. As well they are joyous and I loved returning each day to people who wanted to hear about my day and to help me plan my goals in the next day. I will choose to stay there when I return.

Please make sure to stay at Villa Cuba BNB when travelling to Havana! Carlo and Julie are beyond kind, and they literally saved my trip when I ran into some cash issues. They even offered me free dinner while solving my problems. I cannot say enough nice things about my time there. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay with amazing hosts
What a fantastic place to stay! Yuli and Carlos were the perfect hosts! Always so friendly, so helpful, and so accommodating. The house itself is beautiful and I really enjoyed my room at the top with the balcony. The room itself was very clean and functional, with a very comfy bed. The location is also fantastic, very close to some great restaurants, bars, and places of interest such as the Museum of the Revolution. I absolutely loved my stay here and I won’t consider anywhere else the next time I’m in Havana. I could not have picked a better place.

Very friendly and accommodating family. Nice house, secure and safe. Breakfast was good. Our room was at the top up a set of narrow steps so it's a better option for younger people. Wi fi didn't reach room but could be had on patio / balcony. They arranged a taxi to take us to the airport.

We loved everything about this BNB. We stayed here at the beginning and end of our Cuba trip. The location is PERFECT. You can walk the entire Old Havana from here, and the neighborhood is very safe, even at night and so lively and fun! The hosts are amazing, so friendly and a wealth of information about everything Cuba! Breakfast on the rooftop was incredibly fresh and good and more than enough food. Yes, there are steep stairs, but if you can walk you'll be fine. We will absolutely return to Villa Cuba the next time we are in Havana.

They have to be the best hosts!!! They were so genuinely nice and very attentive to all of our needs. They helped us with everything from money exchange to calling a taxi and reserving it for a day trip to Vinales. I based my stay off of the reviews I read and they were totally accurate. There are some steep stairs but just take your time and you will be fine. The room has all your basic needs. The bathroom has been newly renovated and super clean! I loved eating on the rooftop and they would ask daily what time you would be eating so they could have it prepared. It is close to everything- shops restaurants museums and parks! You can even walk to Parque Central and get on a bus for $5 and go to their beautiful beaches!!!Just walk and get to know your area. It looks like it could be a little sketchy but in reality it’s totally safe. Friendly reminder if you go to tobacco farm you can not bring cigars back to the U.S. Customs will take it as soon as you land in the states.

Great location in Habana Vieja, in walking distance of many important sites. The hosts are extremely helpful and kind, they helped us organize several activities. The only thing to keep in mind: the "BNB" in the name is misleading, as breakfast is not included in the price, it costs 5$ per person and has to be paid extra. And it was delicious.

The hosts were so welcoming from the outset. They made us a coffee and gave us some great tips on the local neighbourhood. They went above and beyond when we had some difficulty withdrawing money to pay for a long distance taxi- they loaned us some money so we could go ahead with the trip. They are delightful hosts and the accommodation itself is clean, homely and convenient to all the great areas in old Havana

We had such a friendly welcome and great hospitality even though we arrived very late at night after a fraught trip The room was large and comfortable, the roof terrace being a particular bonus with a great breakfast The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of all Old Havana A couple of things to be aware of, access to the terrace is via narrow and steep steps and the central location means there’s a fair bit of nightlife noise

I am 71 years old and did not find stairs a problem as there are good handrails .. Villa Cuba is very good value for money as it is in the very centre of all ‘the action’ and had good aircon. Breakfast on the roof terrace was just unforgettable experience plus delicious Gloria the owner is such a gorgeous woman and is so helpful! I loved hearing the music at night but if this bothers you bring some earplugs .. enjoy

The Best Hosts Ever!
Carlos and Yuli are the most amazing and welcoming hosts. They went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Breakfast, water, transportation, you name it... they've got you covered. When I return to Havana, I will definitely be staying at Villa Cuba again, no doubt about it!

The only complaint i can give is the Stairs!!.. 😩 and people having breakfast ☕️outside the room i rented on the terrace …@ 7:00 am while i was still sleeping 😳😳😩😩🙄🙄…right outside my door!😡… other than that !!.. i loved it …the host couple was very sweet and kind .. specially “ Carlos “ he goes above and beyond to make you feel @ home ..6 nites and 1 day .. Very happy and i would go back again.. very clean , plenty of hot water , small fridge inside .. convenient location .. 10 stars!!!.. totally recommend this place..

Of all the places I stayed in Cuba this was the most relaxing, comfortable, restful, and welcoming. The family is really awesome! They’re warm and inviting and always made me coffee in the morning. The location of the BnB is excellent as well. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We booked and paid upfront for 7 nights accommodation but stayed for only one night. The property was advertised as five star rating accommodation which it was not.The reviews prior to booking Villa Cuba were 10 which was false and misleading. The only accurate account was the friendliness and warmth from the staff. I strongly advise a representative from Cheap Tickets to check out this accommodation and reviews. We feel mislead by the false reviews and we have lost money on the booking. We await your response with interest.
