A little gem of a place to stay
Our stay was amazing the resort a little gem. The rooms where spacious with plenty of light. 8 windows infact ,very clean with a large comfortable bed. Breakfast was great lots of choice and cooked to perfection. A short walk through the palm trees was the private beach. Whilst the beach was beautifully with white sand and clear water I was a little disappointed about the amount of plastic struined across the beach.Whislt I do understand it's been bought in by the tide and is a sad testament to us humans 10 mins a day picking up the litter if only on their private beach slot would have made all the difference. After all the hotel took such pride in keeping the rest of the hotels gardens and grounds free from litter it was shame to overlook this. All in all a great stay and I would recommend this place 100% if we get the chance to come back to the Island this would definitely be the place we would stay again .ps.the beautiful little parting gift of cookies was such a lovely touch thank you xx

The property is nicely located and the staff is very friendly - but the hotel is severely understaffed, for I stance the restaurant orders take at least one hour for simple items, breakfast buffet does not look remotely similar to pictures, etc, etc. would never go back

NO SWIMMING POOL! The reason I booked this hotel was the fact that according to the hotel amenities stated on expedia it had a swimming pool (this has since been removed). On arrival found that it had never had or according to the manager will have a pool. Extremely disappointing to say the least. Whilst the bungalow room we had was fine & the staff were polite & friendly, the rest of the place has a lot of room for improvement. 1.The buffet breakfast was very poor indeed. Typical south Indian cuisine but of a very poor standard. Not what you expect when you pay these sort of prices. 2. Wi-Fi virtually non existent. Signal only reaching about 10 meters around the front desk & even then not working most of the time. 3.Ridiculously expensive. Per night rate should only be about a third of the cost however Havelock prices are generally high (but not this high) 4. Beach area not private, no sun umbrellas & generally untidy & somewhere you would not want to sit. Had to find another beach. Having stayed in many different Indian hotels over the years I know what standards to expect. Sadly this hotel fell far short & I would never stay here again. Beware you have been warned !

Hotel deficiencies After booking with expedia we are totally shocked and astounded that the description of the hotel (Munjoh Beach Resort) is simply not as described. I find it hard to believe that such a multinational corporation like yourselves, falsely advertises in this manner. I find it totally unacceptable that after spending so much money, on the holiday of our dreams, that the hotel is not up yo the standard expected. Below, I have listed the deficiencies, in no particular order, between what your advertising the hotel as having, compared to the reality whilst we have stayed there. 1. This is fundamentally the most outrageous issue; at 6.30am noisy building works begins on a daily basis.this consisted of the sound of hammering and drilling and other machinery. I have photographic and video proof of this. 2. No change of bedsheets in hotel room 3. No cleaning of bathroom in room; this is simply swept, no cleaning fluids are used. 4. Rooms are not sealed so various lizards and cockroaches were found the next day (photographic evidence) 5. Advertised as having a private beach; this was completely dyer; I have photographic evidence that this beach was simply not fit for purpose, there was waste everywhere. The neighbouring hotel allowed us, very kindly, to use their facilities. 6. Expedia advertises the hotel as having wifi; there is very little working wifi, most of the time it did not work; there was no mobile network either so we were out of touch with our fam

When we checked into the reception, all the formalities were done. Then the Manager started to talk about all the activities they do, and we would have rather checked into our rooms as it had been a long day. When we finally got to the room, it was clean, but being advertised as a 4 star, it did not have a hairdryer or mini fridge. The hotel grounds were very disappointing. There was rubbish on the beach, 3 old decaying wood sun beds with no mattresses. 2 old decaying wood chairs, dilapidated Bar. As stated in their magazine, that there are plenty of deck chairs, hammocks and beach mattresses, there is nothing, so very disappointing. Breakfast is suppose to be buffet, but no, the have a menu card with limited food and half of it you cannot get. When you order food they get it wrong, when you try again they will bring the item one by one, not all together.

The room price is too expensive for the room you get. Luxury suite beachfront is exaggerated word for the reality. Breakfast tea coffee cups always dirty looks like it didn’t get washed properly. You will see lipstick stain or coffee stain on the cup.

too much construction going on.
we liked it at the time after changing rooms. hotel ok with part time bar license. quite expensive rooms for what you get. havelock has a lot of building work going on and will spoil itself. We got a tuk tuk to radhanagar beach most days which took time from our holiday so sort of wish we had booked that side of the island. wouldn't make the effort to return.

First of all - this hotel/resort is beautiful and has nice beach front. However - I faced below issues when I rented a big cottage for my family. 1)) No hot water 2)) Broken wooden flooring Above two problems although minor but were big turnoff for me. :( Pros: 1)) Excellent and helpful staff - nonetheless - they all need some soft skill training if these guys want to project themselves into 4+ star category. Again - it is a beautiful property but I think for the price - there are better options available.

Absolut traumhaft! BUCHEN!
Wir hatten dort unser Highlight einer 3 wöchigen Andamenen Tour. Pick Up an der Fähre lief reibungslos, check in ebenfalls. Die Bungalows sind mitten in den Palmenwald gebaut und fügen sich wunderbar in die Landschaft ein. Die Anlage an sich ist schön angelegt. Der Strand ist ein Traum. Da die Inder wohl immer woanders hingefahren sind, hatten wir ihn fast für uns alleine. Entspannung pur. Der Bungalow war groß und gut eingerichtet. Schöne Sanitäre Anlagen, alles sauber mit täglichem Housekeeping. Man kann viele Aktivitäten vor Ort buchen z.B. Kayak Touren, Schnorchel und tauchausflüge, Bootsfahrten, Candle Light Dinner am Strand, Massagen... Die Crew im ganzen Resort war wunderbar. Sehr aufmerksam, höflich und hilfsbereit. Einzig das Essen im Restaurant hat uns nicht so geschmeckt. Da gibt es besseres auf der Insel. Für Snacks zwischendurch, aber völlig ok. Fazit: Unser teuerstes Hotel auf der Tour, aber jeden Cent wert. Wir kommen wieder!

Great place to relax in a beautiful atmosphere
Very nice and comfortable bungalows which are nicely decorated and well maintained. Situated in a beautiful park with some ponds and little river and directly on a very beautiful beach. The staff is very friendly and tries its utmost to fulfill every wish of the customers.

Das Hotel ist gut, die Umgebung typisch indisch. Havelock ist eine sehr gruene Insel, das Klima (Maerz) sehr angenehm warm und nicht zu feucht. Die Anreise ist sehr unangenehm. Die Ankunftszeiten der Fluege sind nicht mit den Abfahrtzeiten der Faehren abgestimmt. Man muss jeweils eine Nacht in Port Blair verbringen. Port Blair ist nicht unbedingt sehenswert. Die Hotels sind untere Kategorie und vergleichsweise teuer.

Wir verbrachten 9 Nächte. Gleich am ersten Tag wurde man mit Baulärm, durch Hämmern und Sägen (Bau eines neuen Bungalows) gestört, und das zur Saison! Auf der Internetseite wurde WLAN und Internet versprochen, gibt es aber nicht. Das Restaurant ist sehr ungemütlich, man hat das Gefühl man befindest sich in einer Wartehalle, alles aus Plastik sogar die Blumen. Frühstücksbuffet gibt es selten, das Obstangebot ist dürftig. An der Strandbar langweilt sich zu viel Personal und wirkt auch nicht sehr einladend. Der kleine angelegt Bach ist am Eingang der Anlage schön, später entwickelt er sich zu einer Kloake, über die eine Brücke zum Strand führt. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht was wir für unser Geld bekommen haben. Nie wieder!

Fantastic Honeymoon at Munjoh resort
We celebrated our honeymoon at Munjoh for 8 nights. We stayed at luxury villa and it was great - very comfortable and clean. The service employees make this resort unforgettable. Everyone smiles and always tries to do the best for us. Ravi and all the team were very kind. The fantastic private beach is breathtaking and the best part of the resort. The cost is not cheap at all but it was worth it. Notice that the restaurant is probably the weakness of the resort. The food is average, and you expect for more from this kind of resort. The waiters are great, it seem that the problem is in the kitchen. The quality is very average and nothing more. Also, we wait a long time for every dish, even that we were alone! But there are enough other restaurants in the area so we just tried every day something new.

Total überteuertes Hotel
Der Bungalow entsprach in keiner Weise der gebuchten Kategorie bzw. Der Beschreibung von Hotels.de. .Es gab weder im Badezimmer eine Wanne, noch besaß das Zimmer einen Kühlschrank und es gab auch keinen Wohnzimmer Bereich. Die Sitzbank vor dem Bett und ein Sessel im Raum waren mit Flecken übersäht, sodass man sich ohne ein Handtuch unterzulegen gar nicht hinsetzen mochte.Das Personal war nicht sehr freundlich und das Englisch der Rezeptionistin war in mangelhaft. Der Frischwasser Lauf, der durch das Grundstück laufen sollte, war ein stinkenden Rinnsal.Alles in allem war das Hotel das viele Geld das wir dafür bezahlt hatten nicht wert! Außerdem waren die Preise für das Essen überteuert.
