Beautiful house // bad maintenance upkeep
Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house itself was stunning. Only down side was half of the lights where burnt out, AC worked for a little bit (house stayed at 78°) sounds system did not work. Cable did not work, and WiFi did not work until we found the router and had to reset it 3-4 times through the weekend. If there where no issues with lighting this would have been 5/5 stay.

Great view if the lake.
There are some things that need to be repaired in the house. The lower level game room is GREAT! Ping pong, pool table, air hockey and foosball all in a large room. Lots of fun.

Beautiful views, clean, nice property. LOTS OF STAIRS!
The views from this house are tough to beat. Incredible views, beautiful property, excellent location. Coeur d'Alene is a gorgeous area. There was one major safety issue I saw, and that's the balcony railing between two of the middle floors of the house. We had young kids with us, and the railing is very loose and wobbly. If someone took a tumble down the stairs and hit the railing, I'm not sure it would hold them. We had the kids stay on the lower 'game room' level so we didn't have to worry about them at night with that railing. The kitchen was poorly organized and quite cluttered in the cupboards, but it still worked very well for our family. The location of the home necessitates a lot of stairs, and so that's a consideration for elderly people or those with physical limitations, but the outside tram certainly helped with access to the lower road and the lake. Overall, a very, very nice property.

Spendy but nice.
It can be difficult to find a property to accommodate large groups (13 of us) and with diverse age ranges (9-50) but this place does just that. Plenty of room to spread out and do things. The views of the lake are stunning and the private dock is a huge bonus. Beds were comfortable, the decks were great and the grill worked well. The property management company Vacasa was awesome and super responsive. The property while beautiful is starting to show its wear and tear and for the price point there is room for improvement. Small touches, yet again for the price could be improved. Many amenities such as the theater room and sauna lack clear instructions. There also did not appear to have solid music solution. We are certainly headed back to Hayden Lake; the place is incredible.

Family Fun
Perfect home for a family gathering. We appreciated the 4 master ensuites with king beds, super fun game room and toddler play room, and a real theatre room with comfy reclining chairs. Beautiful lake views from the house and better yet a great dock where we kept our boat for lake adventure and spent many hours fishing and playing on float toys.. House is on 4 floors so be prepared for lots of stairs. It will be hard to top this rental!

Definitely A Mixed Bag
This review is hard to write because there are many things to like about the house, its location, and amenities. So let's start with all the good things about this house. First off, it's a beautiful home and the view is quite nice. Hayden lake is such a relaxing destination, and this place does a great job making the most of a lake house. The furnishing are good and most everything worked with the occasional exception but nothing out of the ordinary that we haven't experienced elsewhere. So, there were two major setbacks that would prevent us from ever renting this house again in the summer, and the first is the air conditioning, or the lack thereof! This house very incorrectly claims to have air conditioning and I'm sure there may very well be one hooked up somewhere but it most certainly does not work and this house is a sweatbox! For example, on Wednesday, August 11th, 2021 it was 95 degrees in Hayden. The main floor with the kitchen and master bedroom were 88 degrees at 10 PM at night (top floor was in the 90s) - would love for the owner to claim otherwise - we have video / photos to document this mess. Not sure about most people but we cannot sleep when it is this warm and it is completely unethical to charge the price per night for a place like this without air conditioning. This SINGLE, important item ruined our trip as everyone was quite tired and groggy all day due to the lack of sleep. The other major issue we had is that the owners had a construction crew working full steam in the basement. Yes, you read that correctly, a full construction crew who were loud, noise blaring of power tools, and the crew used a lot of foul language, which is not appreciated when you have a house full of kids. To be fair to VRBO/Vacasa, they contacted the owners to let them know they were not allowed to have a construction crew there when people were paying full premium prices for a summer lake home rental. What was particularly disturbing about this "oversight" is that the construction crew had keys to the house and came into the home from the basement when were were not there, ie., a huge security violation on many levels. Do they have COVID? Criminal background checks conducted since they are in the same structure as children? I mean, what are the owners thinking here? Anyway, VRBO/VACASA instructed the owners to keep the construction crew away for the rest of our trip. Feeling like we are owed a partial refund for this one.

It appeared that the house was not cleaned.
Pans had old eggs stuck to them, coffee cup full on coffee in the microwave, hair in bathtubs and showers, gun wrappers on the floor up stairs, hair ties, muddy shoes prints in the game room.

Beautiful. Some small issues.
It was difficult to find because Google directs you to the other side of the street and the address doesn’t make sense. We called the help line but after a long and frustrating hold, they just reiterated the stuff that was in the email. We finally figured it out on our own. When you walk in, it is breathtaking. The view, the house, the emenities were wonderful. It was a little much for our party of 5 but all of the space spoiled us greatly. We were disappointed that we couldn’t get the fireplaces to work (except the one in the master bedroom) and it got pretty chilly on the bottom floor. The garbage disposal didn’t work but we discovered a tripped gfi. That reset the outlets in the kitchen but the disposal still didn’t work until we discovered the reset switch under the unit. The movie room also wouldn’t work until we found the storage room behind it and reconnected the components. We would have called but after our earlier experience we didn’t want to bother with the holds and people who weren’t really familiar with the property. Overall, the stay was extremely restful, fun, and beautiful. The issues were only a minor distraction from an otherwise great stay.

Great place for families
This place was wonderful. The looks, location and amenities are spectacular and really provided a great getaway for the family. We did run into a water leak that was no our fault and the Vacasa team stepped right in and worked to get it taken care of. Things happen and we all understand and we appreciated them getting it fixed with little instrusion to our vacation.

Fun for family vacation with plenty of room for all.
This vacation home is large and has everything needed to be enjoyed by all ages, including babies and small children. Although there are many stairs, the access to the lake and private dock is made much easier with the use of a tram. The home has everything, including a spa, steam room, cinema, wine cellar, children’s play room stocked with many toys, poker tables, pool table, air hockey, barbecue, two living rooms, bar, 4 master bedrooms with private bathrooms, beach towels, and much more. We did have a problem with the upper level air conditioner, but worked with the property manager to resolve the problem. Also, the home could be stocked a little better with toilet paper, paper towels, and kitchen towels. Overall, we loved the house and all it had to offer.

Loved this beautiful home great views and plenty of room. Cons- downstairs main fireplace did not work, theatre room electronics seemed a little out dated and could not get all speakers to work as well as the master bath shower water would not get warm enough to take a nice shower. Overall a great experience home has plenty to offer just a few things that need to be addressed to make it a fantastic experience.
