Relax, unwind and refresh with fantastic views of the mountains from each of the three levels in this cabin. Sit by the fireplace and read your favorite novel, use the WiFi to surf the internet, or curl up on the sofa to watch a movie. You are on vacation! Just a short hike up the mountain road offers magnificent breathtaking vistas. Then, watch the day come to a close with a beautiful sunset from the large deck.

A Glimpse of Heaven has a gas grill for those dinners you have been planning. And there's the hot tub to soothe away any stress you may have packed with you! All you need to bring with you is food and beverage. This cabin includes a fully-equipped kitchen, cookware, utensils, dinnerware and flatware. Yes, there is a coffee maker, too! There is an outdoor firepit, just don't forget the firewood. There is also an 8 foot slate top pool table and a large flat screen plasma TV in the game room.

Alpine Helen, in all her Bavarian charm, is only 4 miles up the road. Just as close are numerous hiking trails, Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls. We promise you won't run out of things to do and see while staying with Georgia Mountain Rentals.

Floor Plan:
Upstairs = Master king bedroom and a queen bedroom with a shared full bath. Each bedroom has sliding glass doors to the upper deck.
Main Floor = Living room, kitchen, half bath and covered porch.
Bottom Floor = Game room, and full bath, lower deck with hot tub.

Pets are not allowed at A Glimpse of Heaven. Guests must be 25 or older to reserve.

Great Long Weekend stay

Great stay for the family. Plenty of space for our small family of 4. Was nice to be close to Helen and the state parks and have a quiet place to crash and give the cabin feel of quiet and serenity. No issues with checking in late. Loved the stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin, tucked away in the woods

We stayed here with our family of 4 for a wedding. 2 adults and 2 kids ages 8 and 5. We were mostly out and about and weren't in the house too much. I would say the pictures and description give an accurate feel for the place. It was well appointed and clean. We would stay here again.

Good stay. Only issues were need a barrier between cabins if you want to have a fire in the fire pit. Plus, road to cabin was not bad due to great weather. Don’t know about road if it was snowing. Otherwise, had a overall good time.

Overall wonderful!

It was cozy, easy check-in, nice fireplace, and fantastic location!! The only negative things I have to say is that the jacuzzi wasn’t working and that was one of the things we were looking forward to with this property, and a handful of dirty dishes.

Nice but Older

The cabin was nice but it could use some updating & deep cleaning. Video game doesn’t work, but will take money. It has everything you need, kitchen well stocked, bathroom on each floor.
