The building is beautiful both inside and outside. However, the cleanliness was underwhelming: hallway carpeting was stained, the white shag carpet in our room looked like it had never been washed, the bedsheets had stains, as did most of the chairs in the common areas. We had a room facing the railway station, and the sounds of the trains and announcements were very audible in the room all through the night. The personnel was very professional and friendly, and the location was central.

Dear Marika, thank you for staying with us, and for the review. I'm shocked to hear there were so many issues with the cleaning, I'm so sorry! I only wish you would have come to the reception to tell us about these issues, so we could have changed the room for you. I will let our housekeeping manager know about this, we will do our very best to improve. The carpets are a shade of cream, so sometimes it seems dirty even though it isn't. But we will check this room, and wash the carpet any case. Thank you for letting us know. Happy to hear you enjoyed the location of our hotel. Sehr gutes Hotel mitten in der Stadt, extrem gut geeignet für einen Städte-Trip. Das Hotel liegt gleich beim Bahnhof und ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. Vom Flughafen kann man mit dem Zug sehr einfach anreisen. Besonders gefallen hat uns das 5*-Frühstücks-Buffet.

Hieno historiallinen rakennus mutta hieman sokkeloinen. Pettynyt siivouksen laatuun,huone kuitenkin kallis. Henkilökunta otti palautteen hyvin vastaan ja hoiti asian.

Location is unbeatable, and the decoration is beautiful and breakfast great. This was our second time in this hotel, and the only downside is you don’t know which room you get and some might be a bit noisy for light sleepers. Last time we had a quiet room, this time we were facing the trains and could hear them in the room.
