Our 2 nite Hemet Stay
This property is diamond in the rough. Cute as heck in private, quiet hilly area -view of Hemet-night lights were so pretty. It's basically an apartment, I think converted from opening up a basement wall to a 2-car garage-adding French doors, which are badly in need of new blinds. Host very kind/responsive but missing the mark in several areas (pls fine tune) it's a shame. I think it can be awesome money maker. Bed comfortable with clean linens (more pillows please) but I needed a dining room chair to climb up in it as it was very high. I' 5'6" and 70 years old. Wasn't happening. Shower/countertops/surfaces clean, but not baseboards/flooring/bathroom fan/walls/ceiling or many dishes/appliances. I washed dishes before use. After walking barefoot on very uneven floor, my feet were black. We purchased cereal bowls and left them as there were none. Dishes were lacking, especially silverware which can be purchased second hand. Adorable decor but coffee station had only 3 instant coffee packets. No Kuerig/no coffee to speak of offered-some packets of tea and sugar. Most coffee cups were gold rimmed so not microwave safe. Used one to heat coffee water and poured into the other. Biggest turn off was sign directing guest to throw toilet paper in trash instead of flushing. No explanation given- guessing septic.(We have,we flush) No fault of host but due to Spectrum outage, no WiFi or TV for our stay. Debris by entry door (cubbies)attracted scratchy nightly critters but none inside.
