In front of the house you can make yourself comfortable in the garden furniture, behind the house there is a lawn and play area. The house has a cosy living room with an integrated kitchen, dishwasher, microwave and a bedroom with a double bed (180x190) and a bedroom with a bunk bed (90x200). This accommodation is ideal for small families or couples. You can even listen to the sound of the waves from the house, as the Baltic Sea with its beautiful natural beach is just a few metres away.

The Süssau beach is a long natural beach. Please note that most of the beach is also open to dogs. It is located in the 'fair weather corner' of Ostholstein near the sunny island of Fehmarn.

Should the weather not play along, the surrounding area offers many worthwhile excursion destinations: the Schleswig-Holstein Lake District, the Hansapark in Sierksdorf and the island of Fehmarn with a shark and marine centre, a donkey park and the 'Noah's Ark'. Denmark is also just a stone's throw away.

Well-developed cycle paths open up the beautiful landscape of Schleswig-Holstein to you. There is plenty of space for children to let off steam in the holiday home village. New friends can be made quickly in the large playground.

Ferien in Süssau
Umgebung war interessant. Besonders der Hundestrand hat uns gefallen. Im Ferienhaus wäre es schön wenn noch ein Fön zur Verfügung gestellt werden könnte. Das Ferienhaus war klein und das Mobiliar schon etwas älter.

Ruhig gelegen
Die Ferienanlage ist sehr ruhig gelegen, aber recht eng bebaut. Der Strand ist zum Spazierengehen gut geeignet, unsere Hunde kamen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Das Haus ist schon etwas älter, aber ganz gut in Schuss, alles hat funktioniert, wie es sollte. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und nicht abgewohnt. Allerdings sind die Schlafzimmer sehr eng: Im "großen Schlafzimmer" steht das Doppelbett direkt an der Wand unter dem Fenster, weil man sonst die Tür nicht mehr öffnen könnte. Die Nachttischlampe hat dadurch keine Funktion, weil dort einfach keine Steckdose in der Nähe ist. Das Kinderzimmer ist noch enger. Hier ist nur Platz für ein Hochbett mit zwei Etagen, davor ein schmaler Gang, am Fußende ein Kleiderschrank. Was uns gestört hat war, dass man das Kinderzimmer über das andere Schlafzimmer betreten musste, es gab keinen anderen Zugang. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, auch Backofen und Mikrowelle sind vorhanden. Es gibt auf der Anlage leider keinen Shop. Eine Ecke bei der Rezeption zum Beispiel, wo man Brötchen und vielleicht mal eine Seife kaufen könnte, hätte uns schon gereicht, aber selbst dazu muss man sich ins Auto setzen und in den nächsten Ort fahren. Das war für uns nicht so schön. Auch Restaurants sucht man fußläufig vergeblich, von den Strandläden ca 1 km entfernt einmal abgesehen.

Gute Unterkunft in toller Lage
Hat alles soweit, bis auf noch einmal selber sauber machen nach dem Check in, gepasst. Wenn man Ruhe bevorzugt, ist die Lage perfekt.
