Lovely stay in central Hermanus
Great property, good condition all round and secure off street parking. Communication was good from the property. The property is very central and the waterfront with all its shops are around the corner and everything is walkable. The staff were all frienly and helpful. I would recommend this to friends and likely will return myself in the future.

Self catering with excellent facilities. Kitchen area well equipped. The whole apartment was spotless and internally quite. White linen and towels, shampoo, body wash and lotions of good quality provided. Lots of good restaurants and bars around the shop. The wale watching areas across the road.

Beautifully renovated apartment building. We were lucky enough to stay in the penthouse - fabulously spacious with a great layout, gorgeous furnishings and stunning views! Staff were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Secure parking and a great location to explore Hermanus on foot.

Overall this was a great flat. The flat itself is very well equipped`- we literally just had tea and coffee there – I didn’t cook, but it appeared that if I had chosen to do so I would have had everything I needed. Wifi was good. Whilst the position of the flats is awesome from a location perspective, you are within walking distance of everything, the downside is that it is close to a main road which was still very noisy after midnight… The only negative is the parking. Not only was our bay not undercover, but the bays are also so small that in order to park the Landrover within the marked lines, we had to park so close to the wall that the driver had to exit the car by climbing over and coming out the passenger door! All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The property was amazing! We stayed in the penthouse apartment and the views were out of this world. Everything about this apartment surpassed our expectations. I would definitely book here again and would highly recommend anyone looking for accommodation in Hermanus to book here

Wonderful house and location. There was a muscommunication about the pool being heated - it's actually solar heated and owner has now changed the description online. The pool could therefor NOT be heated nor used when we were there and the heated pool was the main reason we chose this house with our young children. Otherwise a great rental!!

Great service!! The view can’t be beaten on a good day - we were fortunate to see Whales even during the off season. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the building history. The co-owners are so accommodating and assisted me with ease when I’d booked on the wrong date via a third-party website. They were kind enough to include a free upgrade too. WiFi was steady, bed was extremely large and very comfortable

I would really recommend Esplanade as a place to stay in central Hermanus. The apartment was very comfortable and superbly equipped. It is also ideally located. The staff were really friendly and efficient.
