Rent Just One or Double Up For Larger Groups!: Big Sister to the ever-popular 'Mossy Oaks Lodge' (which sleeps up to 14) we call her 'Mossy Oaks Manor' but You’ll want to call it 'Home'! Located just steps across the way from each other, they're the perfect pair for large groups or reunions of 20 to 40 persons! Smaller groups will appreciate being able to all stay together in one place & still have 'their space'. And, since there are no other homes under construction on this mountaintop so far, you'll have the whole place to yourselves and double the amenities between you for double the fun! BUT, be sure to book early for prime dates, as many of those who have stayed here before have already made it a yearly tradition!

Awesome Views Plus All The Amenities - A Win/Win!: A Commanding View, Privacy, Location (just 5 minutes to town) and every convenience and amenity one could hope for, with all of the comforts of home, including: Hot Tub, Pool Table, Satellite TV, Fully equipped Island kitchen which opens out to the cozy sitting room with huge stone fireplace. The upper open Loft is set up as a separate TV viewing area with a love seat & shares a large bath with the adjacent Queen sized bedroom. On the main level there's a King size Master suite and a separate Dining Rm. There's a 5th Bedroom w/King bed, Palladian window & sliding glass doors leading out to the deck. The lower level has a large Queen sized bedroom, while another bedroom on this level has 2 bunks, each with Double beds on the bottom & twins above. In addition, there are 2 more bunk beds with Queen sized futons below & twins above in the 'Media Room', just off the large game room with full sized pool table and an electronic wall-mounted dart board!

Places To Go & Things To Do!: This property (Not the other) is Pet Friendly, so for a small fee, you can even bring the pooch to make it a REAL family retreat! And for those of you who cannot get disconnected from your computers, we've installed DSL, so you can stay in touch or extend your stay another day or two and work from your 'vacation office'.
There's so much to do, you'll want to plan ahead to be sure you have as much vacation time as you have activities. That's going to be a real challenge with so many options! There are hiking trails, scenic waterfalls, river tubing and white-water rafting near-by, horseback riding stables, marinas where you can rent all sorts of water crafts, such as kayaks, jet skis, sailboats, motor boats & water skis, and pontoon boats for a party on the lake!
Besides the GA Mtn Fair, there are little shops & great restaurants in town, local festivals, concerts, craft shows and free concerts on the square every Saturday night during the season (weather permitting).

Wonderful cabin
The cabin has beautiful views from the deck and was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the cabin is located close to the lake and other hikes. Great place to stay!

Great Place for A Group
We enjoyed our stay at this property. We had a large group, so we also rented the sister property to this one. Both sit atop a ridge with beautiful views. The property was in good shape and was very comfortable. Robbyn the host was very good to communicate with. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen was well-equipped. Being at the top of the ridge afforded us plenty of parking and privacy. We hope to return next year.

A great space with a few hiccups
The property is beautiful and the rooms were comfortable. The views from the deck were amazing! There were a few minor hiccups with the grill and several small appliances in the kitchen (blender, mixer, can opener). The property manager had the grill fixed the next morning and we were able to improvise the small appliances. All in all, everyone had a great time and would love to do it again in the future.

Lovely home and a few hiccups with our stay
Despite a few frustrating issues, our group of five women who are long time friends and love cooking had a wonderful time visiting with one another. The biggest disappointment was a non-functioning grill. Unfortunately, we didn't learn this till the last night of our stay as we were ready to place our food on the grill. We notified the company via email and haven't hard back yet, though we assume they'll remedy that issue. Because we like to cook all our meals, more than two cutting knives would be appreciated. Perhaps most people eat out when visiting the area so it may not matter to others. All in all he house is quite nice, has plenty of room to move about and sleeps a lot of people, and the A/C worked perfectly in the mid-90 degree, late August weather.

This place was wonderful. The drive up to the house, though steep, was not bad at all. The house had more than enough room to accommodate the 6 adults and 7 children. The views from the back deck was breath taking. The mountains with the lake at the bottom. And beautiful sunsets. Lots of things to do nearby. Plenty of restaurants also. We will be visiting this house again.

Overall we loved out stay at Mossy Oak Manor, the views were amazing and the house was in good working order. Our issues were with alot of septic sepage the flat part of the yard, an urn that we found in the house had ashes in it, kind of left a spooky feel over the poker room. The 2nd floor bedroom queen bed must have been replaced with a full size bed which is not large enough for two people. We had trouble with the lack of television sets in the bedrooms and connection issues with the two that did work. Our door code did not work to lock/unlock the doors and our WiFi passcode did not work the whole trip. The sliding door near the entrance does not lock and we stuck a stick in the door to secure it. Overall our vacation was a great one in Hiawasse and we hope to come back again soon

Home is on a hilltop, very private. We enjoyed the location, house and view, the host was very helpful, she kept in contact with me prior to the trip and sent out all pertinent information for our stay, the direction to the home was an added bonus. We froze!
There is much to love about this property and spending Christmas with my family is always awesome! The property itself is really nice and gave our large family enough beds. However, my issue is really with the management company. The booking process and checkin went well. Initial questions were answered quickly. However, with a checkin time of 4:00 pm and extremely low temperatures expected, the thermostat was left on 50 degrees (per their policy), and the house was an icebox the first night. It was literally too cold to sleep, even with the extra blankets we brought. Quite simply, there was no way the house had time to get warm! For as much money as we paid, thinking that we would have a safe and warm place for our family (ages 1-83), the management company could have made prior arrangements to bump up the thermostat to at least 60 so the house could have time to warm up. Granted, it was unusually cold outside, but that just reinforces the need for a management company to handle this situation differently! The next day, we called the management company to see if someone could come and see if the heat even worked! We did not get a great response. We went out and purchased a truckload of firewood for the fireplace and heaters out of our own pocket for the second night, which helped somewhat. By the third night, the house was warm but only after we took additional steps on our own dime! In good conscience, I cannot recommend this property for use during the winter because of our experience.

Misleading Accommodations and Plumbing Issues
I have video and photos of the issues. One of the “so-called” queen bedrooms was only 7’-3”X10’-3” and the bed was 7’-5X5’4” but most important there was a very loud screeching sound in that bedroom after someone flushed a Toliet. Although my niece paid $300 to share the home, she couldn’t sleep in the room, so went to a hotel and paid $150 per night. I have a sound recording and photos. I have requested a refund of $300 but the manager of Enchanted Mountain Cabins denies she heard the noise! Again I have photos and a sound video.

Nice rental, missing a few touches
We came here for a nice four day weekend with the family and noted some of the similar complaints of other reviews, such as the limited quantity of eating utensils, and being locked out because the deadbolt was latched, we got ahold of the manager and were able to get a key. The internet wifi information wasn’t accurate, but we troubleshot that and found the original passcode on the router, not that wifi is really necessary with the incredible view and many things to do in the area. The propane tank was totally empty, but a quick call resulted in a full tank within 30 minutes. Nice fire pit. Some holes in the walls and ceiling in the basement/lower quarters was a little bit of an eyesore, but with the pool table I’m sure people are bound to make some holes and maybe they can’t keep up with patching all the time. Speaking of the pool table, there were two working cue sticks and a broken one, no chalk, and the table was a bit dirty, but it’s not like this is professional pool so not exactly the worst thing. There were two full sized fridges for plenty of space to keep drink and food. The hot tub was warm and nice after a long day of hiking. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms, one roll of TP per bathroom, though, so if you plan on staying for more than a few days I’d suggest bringing extra. A few bathrooms had no hand soap either. The wrap around porch was great for spending evenings outside watching the sunset with plenty of little table set ups for seating about 16-18 people in different areas. Floors looked recently set down and not quite finished along the edges. House was clean, shy of a couple bugs, but this is nature. Large good quality flat screens, one in the loft and the other in the basement/game area for those that care. The front door lock is shoddy, crooked and difficult to use as the buttons had a delay after clicking in each digit of the code, just take your time and listen for the beep and you’ll be fine. Front door handle only opens if you turn it up, probably because so many before have fought with the lock system. Kitchen cooking: large and small pots with lids and a large deep skillet that no longer sits flat, 4 baking sheets, a few cake pans, a crockpot, roaster, small food processor, coffee pot, keurig, 4 slice toaster, microwave, blender, little deep fryer. Loads of plates, bowls, cups, and mugs, wine glasses. Maybe 5 dish towels, no scrubber for hand washing dishes, but a good dishwasher and pods under the sink. Nice place.
