Let me start by saying that the hotel itself seemed okay on the outside. We went to the check in to see if it would be possible to get in early and were greeted by a young man wearing pajama pants. Of course, we couldn't get in early (it was 2pm). When we came back at 3 mins to 3pm, we were told we would need to wait 3 mins to check in. Then we were informed that there was a mandatory $100 CASH ONLY deposit needed and we could use the ATM in the "lobby" to get cash. The check-in clerk stated that they could not give me any sort of receipt for the cash given and that those were the rules. It was very shady so we left. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

Was situated on side of the highway so road noise was a constant hum Not well insulated from noise and easily hear peoples conversation if they are right outside. No problem hearing people from room to room however Staff were nice although pet friendly no dogs allowed in lobby for check in. I was by myself and did not appreciate having to tie dog up outside to register. But he was quick about it since I had signed up on Expedia app

Upon arrival after fleeing from hurricane helene the hotel room was crawling with roaches and bugs everywhere. Did not feel safe there as I am pregnant and had to end up leaving at 2 am because of all the roaches. Would not recommend

I've stayed here a few times. Always nice and clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful. It's located right off of I-77. There is a Food Lion right next door, a few fast food places nearby, a gas station at the end of the road you turn on to get to the Red Roof Inn, and a shopping center across the street from the gast station. Everything is within walking distance. NOT in the city so it's nice and quiet. Even being right next to the highway, there is not excessive noise. Rooms are generally pretty nice. Nothing spectacular but they have upgraded some stuff since I was last there. Overall, this is one of my favorite places to stay when I travel.

Not like i remember Red Roofs.
Elevator was a little scary. Air conditioner was sad. Filter needed cleaned and there was a dirty kleenex shoved in there. It cooled, but didnt seem to take the humidity out of the air. No working refreshment machines.
