Enjoy staying at this newly-constructed home overlooking the 7th fairway of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, just a short walk or bike ride from the sugar sand beaches of Hilton Head Island. Palmetto Dunes is a gated mid-island community just three and a half miles from dining, shopping, and marina activities at Shelter Cove. You’ll have direct access to three world-class golf courses, an award-winning tennis center, pickleball courts, an 11-mile lagoon system for kayaking and canoeing, and miles of biking and walking trails.

Wind down in the spacious living room and watch your favorite shows and movies on the TV. Feel free to lounge in one of the bedrooms and view them as well since the house boasts three in total. Your group's chef will adore the stylish kitchen and its plethora of amenities. Prepare anything from a small snack to a feast everyone won't soon forget and indulge in the dining area together. Better yet, take the food to the patio and dine alfresco while taking in the breezy air and having front-row seats for the nearby golf course. Week long vacation stay and would not recommend or stay here again. There were multiple issues - starting with no wifi or tv for the first 5 days along with a leak in the upstairs shower and several fallen light trim when we entered the home. All of the outdoor furniture is disgusting and rusted and should not be used. The grill was unusable due to rust. The house needs a full update. The handle going into the pool was extremely unstable and my parents had difficulty getting in and out without falling. This house is not as advertised at all and not worth the price. Hornets and bees nests everywhere. Also heads up on the corner round in the kitchen…loose and dangerous.

Golf outing with good friends.
The property was near perfect for our needs. We were five classmates getting together with others staying in Palmetto Dunes. We each wanted our own bedroom and preferably our own bath. The house has five bedrooms plus four full baths and a "powder room". Five full baths would have been preferable, but it worked fine.

An outstanding visit
The home is well built. Very tall doors and ceilings. Nice flooring. Backyard view is gorgeous and peaceful. Everything was so clean. Bedrooms and showers are large. Storage space is plentiful. Loved the place. Exactly as described. Only downfall was one tiny blows dryer for entire house and bring your own ground coffee. Otherwise pool was great after a hot day and the house is large and comfortable.

Great Home, but not well stocked
The home was beautiful and having 4 on suites was a huge plus and gave everyone the flexibility and privacy they needed. The pool was perfect for a quick dip and overall the stay was great! Do be aware of stray golf balls landing on or around the house/pool, as it can be startling and I certainly wouldn’t want to get hit by one. The only negative we had on this listing was that it wasn’t well stocked. There is no microwave, no spices (salt & pepper) or any condiments for your use. There are also no pool floaties or swim toys, so if you travel with kids, you’ll need to find your own. There are 4 bikes which was great, but if you want I lock them up while riding, there is no combination for the provided locks. Also the master bathroom outlets didn’t work and the vanity lights were all burnt out. None of the negatives should be deal breakers, but something to consider.
