Ocean One 502 - Beachside 5th Floor Condo

Stay ocean-side and enjoy many benefits of an oceanfront complex without paying oceanfront prices. 5th floor ocean-side condo sleeps up to 10 people. Great for a large family. King bed in the master bedroom, two doubles in bedroom 2, 1 Queen in bedroom 3, 2 twins in bedroom 4, and three full-sized baths. Guests staying in Ocean One 502 enjoy a landscape view and won't have to cross a street to reach the pool, grill area or beach. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. This nicely furnished property has an updated kitchen and baths with sparkling white cabinets, fixtures, and appliances. The Master bedroom has a 32" Flat Screen. The Queen Bedroom has a 26" Flat Screen, and the double bedrooms have a 24" Flat Screen.

Ocean One is undergoing a pool renovation and a boardwalk renovation that will affect beach access and pool use over the 2024-2025 winter season beginning November 1, 2024.

Projected completion for boardwalk renovation is end-of-year 2024 and pool renovation will be ongoing until early March 2025.

I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was nice and clean and the location was excellent. It is close to all the key places in the city and it is just a short walk to the beach. So overall, a great location. The only thing to improve would be 1) the place was short on toilet paper. Haha. and 2) the outside floors in the apartment complex (not in the apartment itself) were very slippery.

Wonderful stay for the RBC Heritage.
Great place to stay. We look forward to returning once all the remodeling has been completed at the complex. Only complaint was that man at security gate was rude and threatening. Someone needs to do something with that badge he wears! The other ladies were most helpful and polite.

We have stayed in this unit at Ocean One. My only suggestion is to have individual line parking. People take up more than their share of a parking space. Thank you. Hope to see ya again soon.

Our group of 6 chose this rental based on floor plan and proximity to beach as well as description and positive reviews. We are a seasoned group of travellers having used VRBO properties many times. We were disappointed. A tired and dated unit; kitchen is not "updated and sparkling white" and had a broken corner cupboard. Housekeeping services needed due to dust, dirty floors and toilets. No cleaning supplies. Tv remotes did not all work, bedding was old and some did not fit beds and fitted sheet popped off corners every night. Window screens had holes. One toilet needed plunging. Entry door lock broke and although Seashore office staff were quick to respond, we lost a day having to stay in unit until replacement was installed. Our major issue was enduring sound of Jack hammers between 8:00 - 5:00 daily due to repairs to concrete balconies, and the pool was unavailable as that too was undergoing repairs. This situation was revealed to us just a few days before we departed for a two-day drive...and after we had fully paid the rental cost. Seashore Rental Agency staff were very attentive to our concerns while we were there and quickly corrected the issues they could control. We would not return to this rental.

Great place.
Security which makes it safe. Beach access. Grills by pool. This condo was very nice with 4 bedrooms. Location great: walking distance to restaurants, shopping and parks. Hilton Head is a great place to be for a getaway. We will stay here again for sure.

The perfect location
This condo was the most perfect place to stay in Hilton head....close to the Coligny Plaza which has everything, close to an incredible playground, and literally on the beach. Great pool area too. It was quiet, private, perfect. We're tough customers...my parents especially....but everyone had their own space and fir comfortably. Highly recommend renting bikes. We didn't get in the car once the entire trip because everything is just a short bike ride away. I will be coming back. It's also next to the beach tiki bar so if you want drinks at the pool or beach, it's very easily accessible. I wish there were beach chairs in the condo.... definitely bring those, or rent them ahead of time... But other than that, we had the most PERFECT trip

My family and I came down for a short stay for a friends wedding. We had a great stay and would stay at this property again. The location is very good and has direct access to the beach, in addition to being within walking distance to other places such as the grocery store and restaurants. I do have trouble with the check in process however. We were there after business hours and could not find and office to check in. I called their phone number, but because it was not an individuals cell phone they didn’t have anyone to answer except for emergencies. So I looked back through my emails to find check in instructions to an off site office. I should have read into my emails in more detail and I would have been fine, but they had sent me so many emails regarding my upcoming stay that I had to dig to find the right one and they got lost in my inbox. Overall, it was a great property, and I would recommend this property to anyone, as long as you are fully aware of the check in process.

Great Spring 2021 Vacation
My family and I recently traveled to Hilton Head Island for spring break and like most people we didn't want to leave. We ended up extending our stay by another week and were able to book this beautiful Hilton Head Island property. This unit provided more than enough room for us with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, large kitchen, living area and three balconies. Although this unit doesn't face the ocean, the view from the balconies is extremely relaxing. Upon our arrival the unit was very well kept and clean with plenty of kitchen essentials and bath supplies. Seashore Vacation Rentals management was very polite and responsive to our needs (which were very minimal) and were able to extend our stay even longer for us! We have been coming to this island for over 25 years and we will definitely be contacting Seashore again on our next stay.

Great for private space for everyone
We loved this condo. Was perfect for the 3YO and a teenage sitter, the baby in a pack and play, my BIL and my husband’s parents with us. Plenty of space, plenty of bathrooms. We loved having a pool for the 3YO to take breaks. The gated parking lot and gated beach boardwalk access was nice. Being able to walk up from the beach for a quick diaper change with the baby, or a nap, was so nice - not many places are affordable right on the beach. However, it was pretty crowded because we were right next to the public beach access. The community itself was pretty crowded too - lots of big families it seemed many of the other condos had a lot more people crammed into the spaces. Ours certainly could have fit way more people than we did. We prefer staying someplace with a bit more privacy, but, the proximity to the beach with a little baby is the trade off

AMAZING condo!
Condo was clean, had ZERO issues, had plenty of towels, the amenities were great. Overall GREAT! We had 6 adults and 3 children, and the layout of the condo was perfect. The king bedroom and the 2 twin bedroom connect with a LARGE bathroom. You have the kitchen and living area in the middle of the condo and then the King and Twin bedrooms on one side and then the 2 full beds and queen bedrooms on the other side of the condo. There are three bathrooms. The king/twin side of the condo shares a LARGE bathroom with a walk-in shower. The queen size bedroom has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. And the 2 full size bedroom has a full bathroom with a shower/tub. There was also a pack n play and a high chair in one of the guest closets which came in handy a couple of times. The condo does face the parking lot but I DO NOT think that the description is misleading. It is Ocean side just not Oceanview. Knowing the difference will help with booking. I think I would have loved to be Oceanview but facing away from the beach was fine and like the description says, “enjoy the benefits of oceanfront complex without paying oceanfront prices” and we did enjoy the benefits of being ocean side for sure! The condo is close to everything in Coligny Beach which makes it nice to go to the grocery store or shopping/eating. Coligny Beach is busy, but we had no issues with finding proper space on the beach. The pool is nice as well. It doesn’t open until 10am, so with littles, that was an issue since they wake up so early and are ready to go. It would be nice if it opened early for that, as we weren’t ready to go to the beach at 8am but having a swim session with the little kids after breakfast would have been nice. Checking in was a breeze. We just called the office and they said we were good to go. Lynn was exceptional and I would rebook purely based on my experience with her. Parking- It seemed like there wasn’t going to be enough parking for our vehicles (2 max per condo), but they figured it out and I think they did a fine job with how many cars they needed to park in their complex. After Sat., the parking was a breeze and we never had an issue finding a spot. It would be nice to have designated parking for the condos. They ask you to park close to the other vehicles and some do abide by that, but some don’t, so having assigned parking with lines would help with that. Overall, I would 100% book this condo. You will not be disappointed.
