Great location, shabby chic cute home, but would give management a 1...
We walked into the house with it at 85. They should have cooled the house for us. It took over 13 hours to cool the house after calling maintenance and he showed up close to 9 pm. Claimed there might be a leak in the frion and said he filled them up. The pool was full of debris to where's my kids didn't want to go in. So my husband had to take time from the family to clean it. I’m just wondering if Vacasa knew we were coming why wasn’t the pool cleaned prior and the air conditioning checked and turned on? The refrigerator was also not working right, it was at 47 degrees, when it should be around 32.
The advertised picture on the site shows a grill on the deck, when we arrived there was no grill. Sadly that's false advertising. We packed items to grill.
The first time a pool guy came to clean the pool was Tuesday when we have been at the house already since Saturday. It was needed and should have been done prior to our visit.
Roofers showed up on Monday and went up on the roof I guess by the sky lights and we were using the toilets. Not happy about that.
Thursday, Roofers showed up again and wanted to come in the house to take measurements. I’m sorry, but the amount we paid, for our some what relaxing vacation the last thing we want to do is to micro manage roofers in the house with the kids and our personal items.
We paid a cleaning fee and the house was not sanitized as advertised on the site nor was it cleaned thoroughly. I have pictures if needed and sent numerous messages to the site, and no communicating was sent back. For an example...The comforters had a muggy scent on all the beds, those should have been cleaned and sanitized, the first floor master bathroom had cob webs and mild dew in the shower.
The Master up stairs had a broken faucet handle, the bedroom up above the garage really should not be considered a bedroom. Mildew in there and black spot or dots of some sort at all over the pillows. We couldn't utilize the room, that was a loss. The wicker chairs outside the back door literally have holes in them where you feel your bottom sink, if you take off the cushion you see the big hole. Mildew in the washer, mini fridge and ice maker.
The house is beautifully located and had a cute shabby chic look but poorly managed. If I was the owner I would like to see feed back. I would not use Vacasa for this house again and the lack of communication with booking, questions and concerns etc. prior and during the trip.
