Whether you are looking for a beach vacation with the family, a golf outing with friends, fishing or other unique low country coastal experience, this condo is a great option. This is an ideal property for families, couples and friends. This property is located in the heart of Hilton Head Island, at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. It is a one-minute walk to the beautiful beach and the Dunes House Bar and Grill, along with being surrounded by three championship golf courses including designs by Robert Trent Jones, George Fazio and Arthur Hills. It is across the street from Palmetto Dunes Tennis and Pickleball Center, Bike Rentals, the General Store, Alexander’s restaurant and other attractions. It is also adjacent to the Hilton Head Marriott Resort and Spa, and just across the highway from Shelter Cove Marina, with several dinning and shopping options.
The property is located in the Moorings Villas on the second floor and adjacent to the Villas pool. We just finished updating the master bathroom, January 2020, and the balance was remodeled in the fall of 2018 with new carpeting, flooring and mattresses. This unit and is owner managed, and used.
This property has a great layout for families, couples traveling together, and groups of friends vacationing. It is divided into three areas: There is the master bedroom (King) and private bath, with separate shower/bath and sink area and balcony, overlooking the pool area. The center of the unit has open atmosphere that includes the kitchen, dining room and living room. The second bedroom is separate from the other two areas and has two queen beds and its own bathroom area, and balcony. Both bedrooms have large closets and dressers. There is a third full bathroom that has the washer and dryer. This is very convenient layout to allow for some privacy, as well as communal living spaces.
The unit comes equipped with a well-stocked kitchen including full stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and assortment of pots/pans and cooking utensils. There are dishes, glasses coffee mugs and silverware and other items to help make this as close to home as possible.
The unit also comes with WiFi, cable and 3 flat screen TVs, for your convenience and enjoyment.
During your stay at this condo building, you're just a quick walk from Coligny Beach. An outdoor pool is available. The condo offers a private pool and a kitchen.

Great week on HHI
We had a wonderful time at this location in the Moorings. Not crazy about the steps but we all need exercise and it didn’t change the trip one bit!! The chairs in the living room were a bit u comfortable but no longer than we were in the condo we didn’t mind one bit!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely March stay
Excellent location, lovely views of the grounds and pools, clean and comfortable and quiet condo with all the amenities. The location is ideal. Walking distance to restaurants, bike rental, beach, general store and golf. Bikes are the best way to get around. We have checked out different locations on Hilton Head and this one suits us best for its walkability to everything you need.

Hilton Head peaceful little gem!
We stayed here over the busy Memorial Bank holiday and this place was in the mix of all the facilities but peaceful still. The place was clean, comfortable and functional. The communication also the the owner was top notch via text and he was super helpful. Everything is close enough to walk if you don’t want to be driving. We enjoyed our time here very much and would be keen to stay here again.

Affordable, next to quiet pool and close to beach
We enjoyed our stay at this property with our family of 5. There is plenty of space and having 3 bathrooms in rare. We especially loved the location- so close to the beach and Dunes Club, a very easy walk to the PD General Store, easy parking. Being next to the pool was a great bonus! The property is older and has some maintenance and functionality issues. The doors and cabinets stick considerably and there is peeling paint in kitchen and bathrooms. In my opinion, none of these things are dealbreakers and it is compensated for by the awesome location. What is important… the beds are comfortable, there is hot water and good pressure in the showers and a washer/dryer in unit (invaluable for families traveling with kids). I would stay here again for the location and affordability.

Great place for a family of four!
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay tremendously. Plenty of space for four of us. The kids (17 & 14) had their own room and beds which is always a plus. The third bathroom in the front hallway was a game changer. Jon was great to work with and very responsive. Location was perfect. Two minutes to the beach and right in the middle of all of the Palmetto Dunes action. Can’t wait to come back!

Great property!
Overall, we had a great experience! Location is right near the beach and there is a nice little place right at the beach access called the Dunes House that you can get food and drinks. The property was very spacious and clean. We got in early and we’re able to get into the property early. The owners were very responsive and offered great information for the area.

Great Location
We have been to Hilton Head Island several times and this was the closest we have stayed to the beach. It was a very short walk and beautiful big beach. When arriving to Palmetto Dunes, we had a bit of trouble finding the window to pay for our parking pass but once we did we easily found our condo and parking was plentiful. I was expecting to be on the second floor but I didn't account for the first floor being up a flight of stairs so just be ready to go up two flights to get to the condo. The key was easy to locate and get out with the code although this all didn't seem super secure. The condo was clean except for a smell that seemed to come from the garbage disposal. It wasn't too bad and may be due to not being used in a while. The kitchen was stocked well enough with tableware and cookware but no extras like salt and pepper or even extra trash bags were there. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. One of our biggest complaints was that the furniture was both dated and uncomfortable, including the kitchen table chairs, couch, and living room chairs. The beds in the bedroom with two beds were okay but the king size bed was very uncomfortable especially on the side by the bedroom door. It was nice to have three bathrooms. The master bathroom has been updated and is nice but the other two could use updating. We enjoyed the decks and being near the pool. One of the sliding doors wouldn't open but there are two doors to each deck. However the balconies seemed pretty worn out. Check out was easy and I appreciated not having a long list of instructions. We really enjoyed our stay at Hilton Head. Thank you!

Quick Thanksgiving Holiday Trip
We have been to Hilton Head/Palmetto Dunes many times but the first at this property. The condo was clean and nicely stocked. Had everything we needed for our small Thanksgiving “feast” we brought with us. Very quick and easy walk to the beach! Liked the updating that has been done to some of the condo including the master bath and the flooring throughout. However, needs some additional updating to the 2nd bedroom’s bath and a new mattresses in the 2nd bedroom. Overall, decent place to stay. Owners were very helpful and responsive.
