Very basic but clean enough. The washer and dryer were out of order. When we went to go use the gym, there were no lights anywhere. Apparently, you have to ask the front desk to turn the lights on for you.

It was a good stay. Only one night so there’s no much to expect. I’ve stayed in many days inn and I had better breakfast then cold hard boil eggs and piece of bread, but for the low price it was okay.

I should have clued in when I went to book. I called in to reserve a room under a wedding block. The guy on the phone asked me for the grooms credit card number. How the heck would I know that?? Anyhow, after some conversation and frustration I booked outside of the block held for wedding guests. Paid more money but whatever. And then we got to the hotel. Slow check in, walked up stairs with luggage and dress clothes Then our room wasn’t ready so a wait to get in. The room smelled musty, and in the morning everyone’s lungs are hurting and we all have a cough. (We’re not smokers) But hey, it’s cheaper than the other two hotels in the same area.

Das DaysInn liegt etwas ausserhalb vom Zentrum, was aber kein Problem ist. DaysInn ist halt ein Hotel der günstigeren Preisklasse, aber für die Durchreise vollkommend ausreichend, Freundlicher Empfang, große saubere Zimmer, allerdings der Wasserkran an der Badewanne tropfte und verursachte Geräusche. Also Badezimmertür zu und gut war. Der Rest des Hauses sieht etwas sparsamer aus. Frühstück, na ja, könnte besser sein.

Location was good and a few minutes drive from whatever was needed. Rooms were excellent given the price. Negatives: Only thing missing was an elevator. Carrying heavy luggage up and down the stairs after a long trip was a bit cumbersome. Plus the fridge in our room was leaking water inside the fridge itself(No impact to room floor or otherwise) ... These things need to be checked and taken care of.

The property is definitely showing its age and does not have an elevator. The room seemed fairly clean but had a smell to it. Beds were okay but pillows were not. There were towels hanging on a hook in the bathroom which appeared to be previously used, not with the clean, folded ones on the rack above the toilet. The tissue holder had an empty box in it. Housekeeping staff started banging around, using the loudest vacuum known to man, having a non-stop, loud conversation just outside our room at 7am on a holiday Monday. They knocked on our door and unlocked it to open simultaneously without waiting for any kind of response; if we didn't have it latched they would have walked right in. Complimentary breakfast was extremely limited and the room was a mess with no-one tending to it. We will not choose this hotel for any future stays in Hinton.

The beds were very comfortable and convenient. Although a hot tub or pool would have been a welcome addition, their absence did not significantly detract from the overall experience.
