Cheap and best hotel in the prime location. However, it is noisy at night from nearby night clubs. I requested for a double room with bathtub. However, all such rooms were without windows. Then I accepted a standard twin room with windows and without tub. The internet was cutting off frequently. Breakfast was not great, but OK. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and wanted to enjoy the nightlife I recommend this place. It may be OK to take someone to your room at night.
good location,
exellent hospitality.
valuable price.

In the heart of the action, close to bars and pubs. Bed is comfy. Bathroom spacious. It is dated hotel.
The bad part is that as soon a you walk in you will be overcome with mould smell. It is very overpowering.
Else it's ok for a night stay. Early check in was good, staff accommodating.
room was dirty and smelly. bed sheets had hair and smells like mold and sweat. pillows smell like cigarette and towels smell like dirty socks. i was thoroughly disgusted and will never come back to this hotel.
Perfect econ hotel for solo travelers. Location surrounded by great stores, cheap restaurants and wild bars in the Red Light district. Sixth Floor in the back was wonderful and quiet. Aircon was a little slow to cool but eventually did the job. Minor broken items fixed pronto. Free breakfast has egg station and great staff, but is a little bit a hot Sauna in roof, so wear shorts and tank top, since breeze only. Internet station in the lobby. Happy friendly staff who speak basic English were a real joy to come home to.
Great 6 night stays. Hotel is located right at the intersection of Bu Vienh Street and DeThanh street. Great atmosphere at night. Close walking proximity to some point of interests in District 1. Hotel conditions are good and clean. Service is excelent but Elevator was quite slow and bathroom had not much of hot water in shower. Otherwise my stay there was quite pleasant.
I am very happy with DDA that is why I continue to stay here....for many months, while I could rent a much larger apartment for 40% less, what makes the most value is the use of the computer...I have an internet business and although I travel with 2 notebooks they are always hacked to block me in denial of service from the US ,,,this is done via spying real-time.. since December I lost 30% of my clients and revenue and here at DDA when the computer is being repaired the manager lends me his...this does not happen anywhere else. the staff are very pleasant and always genuinely smiling
Nice hotel close to everything in Sai Gon District
I am very please to stay at DDA hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly. The room is clean and comfortable.
This hotel has elevator which is a plus. The breakfast and coffee is excellent. This hotel is close to everything in Sai Gon district 1.
Bed felt like concrete. Floor was dirty, hair was in the toilet when I arrived.
The tv was fuzzy, not that it mattered as the programs were all in Vietnamese.
The room was so noisy from the clubs surrounding the hotel. I barely slept as the music wouldn't stop until 6am.
The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Shame about the hotel.

Money stolen in room!
I had money hidden deep within my bag which I assum was stolen by the house keeping staff. Once noticing this I told the receptionist who said she would talk to the boss. The next day who seemed to be the boss (who didn't speak good English and wasn't aware of this incident) was apologetic but was reluctant to investigate unless I knew the specific day it happened. He said if I came back he would give me a free airport transfer, baring in mind I had just purchased one. Apart from this the room had a slight sicky smell and the sleep was always disrupted by chatting/screaming women (most likely from the gentlemens bar under the hotel). The free breakfast was good though.
The location was ideal in the centre of busy Ho Chi Minh city. The room was in good condition. The staff were lovely guiding us to a travel agent, minding our luggage for the day even though we had already checked out, and ordering us a taxi to get to our next destination. If you're looking for cheap, central accomodation in Ho Chi Minh, I definitely recommend DDA.

Just alright.
Standard room is, well, standard. Small with no windows. Very loud but it did the trick. Would stay here over many other places but also have many hotels that I would put first if available.
I really enjoyed the room and the breakfast was great (get the noodles)! A lot of reviews complained about the noise as it is a very busy, party street, but I personally didn't have a problem since my room was on the 4th floor and on the back side of the hotel. Also, the Wi-Fi worked great as they have 3-4 for the building.
I'm a budget hotel traveller - I don't like to spend 5 star prices so don't expect 5 star hotels for 2 star money, but usually I'm lucky in that I get a good basic hotel for my money.
The Bizu was a disappointment though. Location was good - in the heart of district one. It had wifi that worked well. And the water was hot when needed. Air con was ok.
The room was on the first floor - 104 - it was a very small room although labelled superior. It had no window. The bath had no shower curtain - just the rail. The bath itself didn't appear to be fitted properly with big gaps at either end which meant every shower left the floor very wet. The bed was the most solid uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. The room safe was out of order. A number of ceiling lights were also out of order.
The noise from reception echoed up the stairs into the room. The staff were playing traditional Vietnamese music at high volume on a Sunday morning at 8am. Every little noise was amplified 100 times as it got into the room.
It's a party area - so you do expect noise from the local bars - but noise from reception - staff shouting - room service radios at high volume - someone needs to understand that noise should be kept to a minimum.
The staff wanted to keep my passport - which after refusal they agreed to keep a photocopy.
For the price it was ok - but you'll certainly find better around the area.
Room was ok for a short stay but:
- The shower curtain was at first missing then we got one with moistur on it.
- wattertube on sink was not fixed
- electricity nit able to charge a phone in one night (BUSINESS???)
- wifi was good
- fixed station was unusabel. Windows xp and an instable internet made wirkibg impossible.
- the location is great for having a beer. Not for work.
The hotel wants to be on the luxury site with no investement and poor quality on service.
Not recommendable
