Perfect for our needs, close to our activities and easy to make a meal in. Just note though probably not good if you are a light sleeper- road noise and rattling doors may keep you awake, but not a problem for us.

For the price the Argyle Motor Lodge was good. The room was clean and comfortable. However I could not connect to the wi-fi in my room - it worked in the reception area. A little traffic noise after 07:00 but not too bad.

An excellent place to stay if you have a car in Hobart. Near the North Hobart restaurant area, and also easily walkable to the Queens Domain trail. The motel itself is basic but clean and functional, and staff very helpful. It's quiet at night and most importantly, there isn't a lot of outside lighting, and what there is is turned off late at night, making it dark in the rooms, a welcome change from some places!

We had room 38 which is a large two bedroom apartment. We had everything we needed. No fee for parking. Only a short drive to everything. We used the laundry after paying for the washer and dryer at reception. Staff were so friendly. Great visit.
