This rustic holiday home for families and groups in Hochfilzen in Tyrol makes you want a varied holiday in the middle of the mountains. Located on a fantastic hillside with a view of the Tyrolean mountains, it offers everything you need for a relaxing ski and summer holiday. Also, this is a working farm where you will find animals in the adjacent stable in winter and on the alpine pasture from May to September. Sporty everything is possible from the accommodation. From the Pillersee piste you can ski straight to the front door. A mountain bike route and various hiking trails such as the Buchensteinwand with the famous Jakobskreuz start on the doorstep. In winter, various ski areas such as Kitzbühel, Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and the Steinplatte Waidring are within easy reach by car. Lots of wood, a tiled stove and a beautiful seating area give the holiday home an extremely cozy atmosphere. The open kitchen is well equipped and also has a dishwasher. The in-house ski room is particularly practical. Since it is an older house, the walls are noisy and it is possible that you can hear the machines in the stable.

Auf der Alm
Die Unterkunft liegt sehr idyllisch auf der Alm. Bei starkem Schneefall ist die Straße (ca. 1 km) nur befahrbar, wenn der öffentliche Winterdienst den Schnee beseitigt. Man wohnt auf drei Etagen mit separatem Küchenraum und Wohnzimmer. Dass man direkt über dem Kuhstall wohnt, haben wir erst vor Ort gesehen. Dementsprechend ist der Stallgeruch im Haus und die Geräusche am frühen Morgen recht präsent. Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathisch und waren jederzeit hilfsbereit und ansprechbar.
