This hotel is neat; has a spa, warm pool, and a great restaurant. The only thing we were not expecting was to use a shared restroom but over all is a good place.

The room is so dated and has a feel of a hospital room. The celing lights are like from the 50th. The drapes are old. The bathroom only has the very basic toiletries - same liquid soap is used for face, shampoo and conditioning. The bed is so soft that I did not get a good night sleep. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The property was good. I thought that the breakfast was included in the price. In those interior land of Iceland I expect that it should be included in the room price. Otherwise it is too expensive for a continental type breakfast for vegetarian like is.

Walls to adjoining rooms are thin consequently noise can be annoying. A jug was supplied for coffee/tea but the only available power outlet was above to the hand basin. Breakfast buffet area is cramped and crowded.

Extremely noisy at night - I could not sleep all night because people kept shouting and screaming even at 4am. The photos do not meet the property at all, there is no mini fridge or iron. The towels stink! I was shocked. The bed also gave me a rash (not sure if there were bed bugs). It’s definitely not worth the price and I would NOT recommend it at all.

This was our best stay in Iceland. The rooms were clean and spacious, best showers, they even have a dining area. We arrived at night and couldn’t find any place open to eat or even to buy snacks. The receptionist at Jökull made us excellent sandwiches, even brought them to our room, they had snacks, wine, beer. We were so happy! The cleaning crew and breakfast crew were also excellent. Not sure who is the manager or owner of this place, but I want to say congratulations for putting together an outstanding team.
