The property was very old, heater was not working properly didn't heat up even when left on overnight. Felt very cold. Carperts were terrible. But reception and exterior was looking good. That was a disappointment when check-in to see the room was not in a good condition. Too expensive for the experience.

Ok so there is 2 parts to this property 1. Tired part which is up a flight of stairs with no lift and no one around to help with a 30kg bag. Rooms small but ok. 2 The new part faces the beach and is way more expensive. In saying that the staff, restaurant and food were great. So, a one-night stay was ok

Staff in the bar and restaurant were outstanding, friendly and helpful. Only negative we found was that we had quite a lot of gear and had to cart it up stairs to our room. Probably not an issue for younger people.

While it was a budget room and facing the street, it was light and late night noise wasn't an issue. I had a heater issue that was promptly and efficiently remedied. I have marked down on the cleanliness front as there were shoulder height black marks on the wall in the bathroom and main room which was odd, plus why do hotels never clean all the fluff off bathroom extraction fans? But overall very happy, third stay there.

What a little gem this hotel is! The weather was terrible (winter) when we arrived but we had a nice dinner and did laundry and didn’t have to venture out! It’s so super clean and cozy. We commented that it was nicer than our Novotel in Queensland. We had a view of the very angry ocean and loved it! My husband did take a tiny trip to the liquor store for some wine and the gentleman there was great. Wonderful breakfast and now we are off for more adventures in this beautiful country!
